I know this is a week old, but I was on vacation for week, & wanted to comment on this story...(rule: when on vacation, never go on internet, unless it's presidential election year to keep up w/latest polls, lol)....
Anyway, if you think about it, Adam Lambert had no shot against Kris Allen....On A.I., southern contestants usually win...There was no way a rocker from San Diego was going to beat Kris....I wanted Adam to win, thought he was easily the most talented contestant this season...

American Idol is to be replaced by the X Factor?
I would like to make it clear that this is all rumour, but its all very interesting and comes from a good source
and it makes sense.
Apparently the plan was always to replace American Idol with the X Factor when the AI ratings dropped. The ratting haven't dropped, but Fox feel they will lose Simon soon and the only way to keep his interest and him at FOX is to bring the X Factor to America. And they apparently feel that AI finishing and going out...

More New York counties join the resistance to switching from lever machines to optically scanned ballots.
Smartmatic brought the wrong cable to its all-important demo in the Philippines and caused a short circuit in the optical scanner. Voter ID and Internet voting continue to be in the news. And an error was discovered in TrueBallots counting of the votes in Aspens IRV election but it didnt affect the outcome.

Really Talented Performer Wins American Idol; Liberals Blame Christians
This week Kris Allen, who during the American Idol season prompted unabashed praise from Simon Cowell and the rest of the judges, was voted Americas favorite over Adam Lambert, his theatrical and inconsistent competitor.
Because Adam Lambert is, according to many, gay, the liberal media is blaming Christians for the tough loss. There are even rumblings that this election was rigged. Reminiscent of Bush/Gore 2000, anyone?...

I first gained respect for A & E watching their amazing historic biographies such as Rommel, JCPenney's, and Nicholas & Alexandra. That respect only increased when I discovered the fantastic line up of mysteries that ran Sunday afternoon and evenings. Sadly, these wonderful mysteries have been moved to inconvenient times.
Is there anyway to return the mysteries to Sunday or, perhaps, offer them in place of "Murder She Wrote" on some nights? I love Jessica but am willing to see her less frequentl...
