Today is a special RANT show where the hosts are encouraging listeners to call in with 3 rants!! And this mornings special repeat guest is another Red Maryland blogger, Mr. Mark Newgent.
So far it seems that they disapprove of both President Obama and the current~governor. In fact ~ criticism of the current~governor by name seems a tad louder than normal.
Theres been no mention so far about the announced Republican candidate for governor in 2010. I found that a tad odd since the former~governo...

Do coaches that were former players

I was just thinking about this in regards to Mike Singeltary, Gary Kubiak and probably some others I don't remember right now.
Do you think it is an advantage for these former player coaches over other coaches?
I am thinking it helps because young players may have more respect for a coach who has played at the pro level before. But there are tons of great coaches who never played pro. Tuna, Madden ect.
Just wondering what you might think the differences are and if there is an advantage for some...

A former friend of mine, going to prison for possessing child porn

An old friend and former business associate of mine here in the midwest pleaded guilty the other day to downloading and possessing child porn. He was also a music teacher in two local schools. He has a 22 year old daughter. I was totally shocked when I first heard about my former friend last fall, and everyone who knew him is shocked as well.

Thinking about Joining Army Reserves CID

I'm thinking when my enlistment is up in the NYARNG, into enlisting withe CID in the reserves I've been in the service between active duty marines and reserves a total of 11 yrs.. I hold the MP MOS and I'm currently A NYS LESO for 10 yrs. and also a former Custom inspector for 2 yrs. Any advice or info on the closet unit to NY is greatly appreciated. Hooyah!!

I am sure that you know that most of us on GB appreciate what you do. I hope that you feel it elsewhere as well. I think it's sad that some people only give recognition on Veteran's Day. I say give blacks November 11th and give the military and veterans a whole month!
