This is a simple debate thread for views on time, brought about by a little discussion between Elf Wind and Moonlight, now amplified into its very own thread. ^_^
So, what are your views, opinions and theories on the concept of time?
Personally, I believe that time is non-existant. There is no "beginning of time" and there will be no "end of time" as time does not exist. Time is a human construction displayed on the face of a clock. It is not some all powerful, mighty thing.

Hey guys
My old astroglass was stolen in may and I'm now looking for a suitable and cheap replacement. I found an older champion and was wondering if you guys might know anything about it since the ad doesn't have a model name listed. Sorry the pics aren't better they're from the boat ad.
Its a 1987 18.5' fish and ski with a 200hp merc.
Main things I'd like to know is?
what the actual model is? (I'm thinking Super V 18 f/s)
what the HP rating is (most 18.5' I've seen are rated for 175hp)

Strange experience... can't stop thinking about it!

I'm really not sure if this was just a strange dream-like state I had upon waking or something else.
But, about 4-5 months ago my husband was watching a movie on his computer in our room and I was laying in bed and I fell asleep for maybe 20-30 minutes. I woke up suddenly and saw this sphere that was blue-green in color. It was between the size of a grapefruit and soccer ball. It was semi transparent. I watched it float out of the wall and slowly through my bedroom and through another wall.

my missus thinks my two omegas are "nice", but she wonders why i couldnt just get a bunch of fashion watches! n.b. whenever we watch the F1 or any motorsport she roots/barracks for the car that has the prettiest colours!lol

I heard people talking about this show and was thinking about giving it a try I never started with this series because I watched the movie that it was based off of an thought it was a bit too cheesy.

I have watched from a distance the ongoing battle to *regain" Truck.Net. I have kept quiet, with minor exception and I figure now is as good a time as any to hit the fan with it.

Thinking about gars...

OK, so one of my lfs' has some Florida Gars that I've been watching for the last month or so. Every time I go in, I like them more and more.
My largest tank right now is a 125g (72x18x22). I don't want to get a gar if it can't live in this tank for at least a few years, as my expansion plans are slightly limited right now.
As of now, the only fish I plan on having in this tank are a pair of pbass (3.5" and 5.5" respectively), which I already have. The gar(s) that I'm looking at are about 7-8 inc...

Howdy Pardners,
Although I have philosophical reasons for avoiding look-alike watches, I am intrigued by the Steinhart divers. Especially since I have a few college educations in my future.
