Thinking About A Smith
(06 May 2009)
drawn to revolvers lately and am thinking about a 686 with a 4" or 6" barrel.
not a carry gun. for the range and something to take hiking/backpacking.
currently have several kimbers, 3", 4" and 5" barrel and a glock 23.
questions are:
1 - what's everyone think of the 686?
2 - what's the accuracy at, say, 15 yards like compared to the kimber 5"?
opinions, viewpoints and all genuine wisdom appreciated.

Thinking about selling the coupe - Need some advice
(21 Jun 2009)
My wife and I are having a house being built that should be completed in late Aug. She drives an '05 pathfinder and I DD the coupe. I'd really like to have a pickup truck, but not sure which way to go.
I recently created the following post on SVT forums:
Quote: : So here's the deal. My wife and I just bought a house, and I'm considering a "more practical" vehicle. My wife drives an '05 Pathfinder, and I have an '01 BMW M-coupe. I'd really like a truck to make the runs to Lowe's, Home Depot, etc....

Map Idea. Tell me what you think about it
(09 Apr 2009)
For lack of a better name, I am calling this map "Barge"
Each team starts on a separate torture barges. In between these torture barges lies a stationary Barge that will serve as the primary battleground for the match. The two starting barges will begin parallel to each other and they will move toward the stationary barge. The Starting Barges will have the following weapons: Sniper/Torque, Frags/Inks, Boltok (Maybe a mounted Troika as well). The first 20 seconds of the match will consist of gath...

Been thinking about Our Range
(16 May 2009)
It got me to thinking, all rangers should be born with the most range starting from scratch. Currently it is set at 25meters, then you can feat in 5 more meters for a total of 30 meters. This is still within the range of pets and demo and spellweaving casters. Then if you add a bow with +5 you are up to 35 meters still i think within range of pets and spell weaving.
First off Ranger (bow) should be born at 30 meters then feat up to 35. Here is the kicker, Tier weapons and very very random drops...

I was thinking about oval racing after the Kansas race...
(14 May 2009)
I'm new to the board - have been an Indy Car fan since I was a kid.
I have my own opinions about CART/IRL. This topic is not about any of that, so please don't go there.
This is a thought about the Kansas race that popped into my head, especially after re-watching the 2000 and 2001 CART Michigan 500 races.
I remember reading a few comments on here that the passing and lead changes were extremely lacking at Kansas. I agree. It reminded me of what oval racing was in the early to mid 1990's with CA...

Kitchen range opinions
(26 May 2009)
Hi all, what are your thoughts on having a grill built in to your range? Anyone have it and glad they do, or wish they never got it? I would probably use it, but I've heard it's a pain to clean up afterwards. Right now I'm thinking of just burners and a griddle. What do you think?

Thinking about getting an E90, questions
(02 May 2009)
Hello everybody,
I have been thinking of replacing my 04 TL with something a bit faster, rwd, and with a manual transmission. I want to know what the general opinion is on used BMWs. The concensus at the acura forums is that bmws are more expensive to maintain and not that reliable and I should avoid getting a used one. Tell me honestly, would you recommend a used BMW to someone who wants a reliable trouble-free car, and does not want to pour lots of money into it?
I will probably be making this...
