1. No Respect   (10 May 2009)
Out of curiosity what does everyone think about Barry Melrose in general and his comments regarding Ovetchkin. I think frankly Barry is a fat bastard who only talks about west coast hockey because the east is too "defensive mind" oriented for him. Frankly Stan Fischler in my oppinion pisses me off more then any other commentator to walk the face of the earth. Maybe because he tells it like it is haha. I would just like to hear your oppinions. One more thing, do you rem. Barry's comments about ne...

2. Hats off to the Pens, now Game 7   (11 Jun 2009)
I was completely surprised at how Pitt rebounded from game 5. On the other hand, Detroit came in flat as hell. I think the Wings was over-confident and was surprised as I was with Pitt's play. The right team deserved to win this game. What a save by Fleury late in the game!!! Now, we have Game 7 where 12 of the last 14 home teams have won the final game. The Wings are a -1.70 to -1.80 favorite at the books I've checked out, and this is about what I was guessing. I wouldn't be surprised to see it...

Ovechkin Quote: s: "I don't really think about the contract right now. I just think about my game and what I have to do better and that's it." "Nobody ever tells me to give them a pass or anything. My job is to score goals, and if I don't shoot the puck, I can't score goals." "That's hockey. You never know what's going to happen. It's a tough sport. No tooth, a broken nose, but I'm looking good [laughs]." "Today was a special day," Ovechkin said with a smile. "I broke my nose, have stitches (and...

4. Bickering Tampa Bay Lightning owners Oren Koules and Len Barrie on track ...   (24 Jun 2009)
Written By John Romano Turns out, the Lightning's troubles did not end with another lost season. This morning, the woes grow deeper. Perhaps, by this evening, they will turn uglier. There is unrest in the ownership group. There is dissension in the ranks. And, almost one year to the day after OK Hockey took control of the franchise, the possibility of a messy divorce between bickering owners is a real possibility. Oren Koules and Len Barrie are scheduled to have a meeting today with NHL commissi...
