Hello. I'm an old DAOC/Mordred guy. (Nirk, GL of Lost Knight)
I played WAR briefly on release, but was drug away back to WoW by my wife.
Now I've come back to WAR, (and rescued someone from WoW as well..)
Does DC have that 'old mordred' feel to it? I'm a little disappointed there isn't an open PVP server. But this seems good enough.
note: I'll be rolling Destro.

thinking about rolling on cimmeria

all my characters are on wiccana but I was thinking about making one on a pvp server, and figured cimmeria would be a little easier on the ganking than Tyranny. Is this true?
also since it's supposed to be an rp/pvp server does anyone actually rp? or have the hardcore pvpers taken over?

Hey there, I played WAR when it was released for a month, but quit when most of the people I played with went back to that other mmo . So now I have resubbed and installed and am thinking about what server and side to play.
Having taken a look around I'm torn between eltharion and this server, but I'm thinking I'd prefer it here as sometimes its nice to not have to watch your back while you casually quest and enjoy the scenery.
Also I'm thinking I'd rather be order, I've seen a few people moan a...

thinking about rolling a 50 HOX, some questions

So I'm debating which class to create for my 50 and have a few questions
1) do HOX have any ranged spells?
2) anyone have any "can't go wrong" PVE specs, PVP specs and hybrid specs?
3) Anyone have experiences playing the DT and HOX? any pointers on how they differ?

Hello,
I was just thinking about how ridiculous it is to have to wait six months if a new program just came out, in order to use it. I am well aware of Backports, but those are slow just the same.
Now here's my proposition: Make applications only rolling release, not important system files. This way you keep the stability of regular releases, along with having the newer programs; the best of both worlds.

OK. So here's the deal.
I'm kinda done with composing. Sounds stupid I know. But seriously. I need to pay some ridiculous bills that just popped up and my wife doesn't start her new job for another month. So here goes:

"Shin Rolling" debate

So with shin bang being a major problem this year for me with Salomon boots, I change to Dalbello. They didn't come with the intuitions(which I already complained about in another thread) so I will be getting custom footbeds and intuitions sometime in october or november. On another note:
A friend told me about taking a rolling pin and rolling my shins to get rid of the massives bump on my lower right shin, and do it on both shins to toughen them up(he had done it a few weeks ago and swore by it...

What do you put in them?
How do you keep them closed while traveling?
Do you still bring a rolling tote if u bring the drawers?
Any help would be appreciated. I am thinking about getting a set of these to take to a crop with me next week.

I know Oregon is thinking about duplicating the Idaho "rolling stop" law as is Arizona. What other states have this law and what justification do you use when trying to sell the idea to the legislature?
