Should I be worried I'm not feeling much kicking yet?
(08 May 2009)
I still feel some flutters if I lie very still, but I don't think I'm feeling kicking all day long like some of you other ladies are! Is this bad? My doctor said don't start thinking about it too much until 24 weeks, but with so many other people talking about all this kicking, I'm starting to be a little concerned! Is anyone else NOT feeling kicking yet? Or maybe I just don't know what I'm feeling?

Kicking a band member. How should we do it?

Kicking a band member. How should we do it?
We're a group of friends who started a band about a month ago. The thing is that one of the bandmembers have been acting negative lately and doesn't want to play the music the rest of the band wants to play. We're thinking about kicking him, but we still want to be his friend. How should we approach this problem? Anybody got any experience about these kind of things?

kicking before a fence?
(27 Apr 2009)
I find this really difficult to do because it throws me off balance. however someone has suggested I do this to get my horse to jump higher. However I have also read that kicking or hitting the horse before a fence can actually put them off jumping as they think theyr being punished for jumping. any opinions on this?

hand-kicking-outflipping problem
(13 May 2009)
Hey everyone,
I've pm'ed a lot of people for opinions but I want to hear from more people.
My stance is left foot back-spinning counter-clockwise.
I can regular 5spin
blind 3spin
(both on a trials unicycle)
When I first started doing flip tricks, I spun clockwise (blind). This made it easier for hickflips because I was spinning with my kicking foot. But some people advised me not to do this because, as I got better and wanted to learn fifthflips, I'd hit a road block because I can't blind 5spin....

Kicking and Screaming into the Future
(18 May 2009)
This will be somewhat of a rant-ish post.
Basically, our current DM has 'discovered' 4E, from 3.5E. And he likes it so much, he's decided that to hell with the party, he's going to shift the campaign over to 4E whether we like it or not.
Well, okay, he's made platitudes of that not being the case, but frankly based on his personality and previous actions, I don't well believe him. Now, I don't want this to turn into an edition war- I've read the 4E books. It's a good system. It's a fun system. B...

Kicking Down the Door: The Journal
(10 Apr 2009)
Some of the CO world has been clamoring for a Campaign Journal of our recent all orc campaign. This is my first Journal, and I hope that it is a pleasing thing of beauty. (orcish beauty)
Background: Sitting around one Saturday we decided to run a simple one shot adventure. As a joke we all made orcs and we proceeded to kick down every door and kill everything. Only we had no healing, and we refuse to rest, we just kept going, until eventually we pulled the entire dungeon on our heads and died. (...

Why kicking in the head?
(04 Jul 2009)
Hello all, I don't want to start a flame here but want to know the way you think about the emphasis TKD puts in kicking the head.
Last nigh before my TKD class I watched the teens and moms training, the sambonim wanted the class to perform dolyo chaguis (high round kick) to te head stressing this kick to the maximun. I watched how some just can't kick well enough to the head no matter his/hers efforts.
In some point I got one conclussion. It's unnatural for the human body to kick the head, the f...

(19 May 2009)
A 13-year-old boy's vow to resist chemotherapy by punching or kicking anyone who tries to force it on him will present doctors with a tough task if they can't change his mind.
A judge was due Tuesday to hear the results of his order that Daniel Hauser undergo a chest X-ray and his family pick an oncologist to be treated for Hodgkin's lymphoma.
