Thinking about buying a Kimber Pro Covert..opinions wanted.

Hello,
I have recently stumbled upon a hefty real estate commission, and I think I want to treat myself to a new pistol..you know, as a reward to myself I'm liking the Pro Covert II and think it might be the one.

I'm getting pissed off with this thing sat in the garage and it not getting finished. I'm guaging interest in the parts I have. The quaife box is gone and I have a brand new secs monitor in carbon dash pod. also have a mint 6 point Safety devices cage just back from the coaters. if you are interested in any parts just pm me and i'll give you a price.

I am in a huge dilemma here, need all opinions please

Ok I have had my Xsi for a little over a month, close to 5,000 clicks, feeling pretty good about everything. Although I need to learn some setting, I know I need MORE zoom, way more zoom than what the kit lens offers, I bought the 55-250 IS from Best Buy but I am returning it because if I decide I want this lens, I will buy from adorama or b&h.
So, what lenses would you reccomend for under $400?
Should I spend a little more and get the 70-300? Or stick with the 55-250?
Also, can I use Kenko tube...

I want to get the Cargo Sling, but I can't decide if I like the Cambridge pattern. It's the one in the email & I liked it in the photos it shows, but when I'm at the site, I'm not such a fan.
I want something in a more of a 'summery' pattern, is Cambridge a bit brigher & fun?
The other color I'm going back and forth with it is Mod Floral Pink....

For starters, if you just clicked on to this topic thinking "another loser with emotional problems, this 'd be fun", let me show you how wrong your assumption is.
You see, I'm a normal bloke, studying average stuff, doing actually nothing and probably will do nothing extraordinary in life, something that will make my life more enthusiastic.

Thinking about joining the ARNG

Ok....
I have decided that I want to join up the US armed forces... but I'm not interested in active, I'd like to do reserves.
last year I went to the Marine recruiter, and it seemed pretty nice... but I realized that a lot of things were being sugar coated...
some time has passed, and I looked into the the ARNG... ARNG has the things i'm looking for. has a MOS that I'd like near me (18X and 11B) State controlled, not just Federal, so I can help my state as well... Has some bonus that I can use...

Is anyone here in favour of this? The article sites the huge improvements in technology since the original, thus making the production of a sequel much cheaper and quicker but all we know at the moment is that he's thinking about it.
Personally, I don't like the idea at all. Besides the need for a (really) good plot, all the human actors are 20 years older. Will they return or will new ones fill in?
The original is one of the best movies ever released. I'd hate to see it tarni...
