I keep seeing the same asinine complaints over and over again. Let's stop and think about them for a minute:
Complaint 1: The developers are releasing content without any regard for what the players think.
Reality: Developers exist to satisfy the players. While they may get some things wrong, everything they change is because they feel it will enhance the gameplay. They are not changing things because they want to piss you off. They are changing things because they think it will make you enjoy t...

Thinking about getting FIOS

I live in northern NJ and have had Cablevision for my TV and internet for years. I've had no problems with them and the service is good if there's ever a problem. The only problem I have is that it's expensive. If I switch to Verizon FIOS, I can save $60 per month.
Can I get some opinions from the people who have FIOS? Is the internet as fast as Cable? Is the TV picture clearer? Is it worth it to change or am I just opening up a can of worms?
My neighborhood's all wired for FIOS, did anyone have...

Thinking about selling the coupe - Need some advice

My wife and I are having a house being built that should be completed in late Aug. She drives an '05 pathfinder and I DD the coupe. I'd really like to have a pickup truck, but not sure which way to go.

I'm not talking about large purchases like a car, but smaller ones like a microwave, TV, computer, household appliances, etc. Or are you like a lot of friends I have who see a broken appliance as an excuse to go out and buy all new, state-of-the-art toys? Because I've about had it with a few select friends of mine who criticize me for having an "obsolete" TV, computer, cellphone and household appliances.

Its summer again so now im thinking about fixing my AC

I haven't thought about my AC since this time last summer. (Or maybe the one before I can't remember) I didn't have ya'll here to give me advise and since it is getting hot again I really want to get it fixed.
So here is what I know. If i have it recharged it will stay cool for about 2 days and that's it. We have tried the UV dye additive or whatever it is to check for leaks, but to no avail. I could have it recharged every 2 days, but the money would not last long lol. I have a '91 ranger that...

Websites with fixed position menus. Opinions?

Can I get some opinions on websites with fixed position menus. From a UI perspective, it seems like a no brainer to have your main navigation element always visible regardless of how far down the page the user has scrolled, but the technique isn't used that frequently.
What are your opinions on these menus. Do you find them use full or annoying.
