Reinstalling Vista on a New Drive - with some specifics

Current setup: 2 X 250Gb Hdd's, one has Vista Business installed, the other has been used as storage only. I bought a WD 1T hard drive, and want to do the following:
1. break the large drive up into either 2 sections of 500 Gb or 4 sections of 250Gb
2. Install Vista on the new drive (have the full Vista Business CD)
3. Install the Windows 7 RC on one of my original 250 drives
4. Keep the 3rd 250 drive as a storage
This is what I've come up with, and would like opinions on whether there is a bett...

So I woke up this morning and this is what my laptop screen looks like. It'll boot just fine into windows, but it's all garbled. Fortunetly I can use a external monitor, but thoughts on things to try?
I've tried, uninstall the drivers and reinstalling, rebooting, shutting down ... downloading new drivers ...thoughts on if it's hardware or not?

When i played the demo of this game before it was released there was advertisement from valve saying "More Weapons". Now it seems even when SDK comes out this will NEVER be the case.
Apparently the SDK will only be good for making new maps. Wow i think even Duke Nukem and Doom had more than 6 weapons... and more than 5 maps.... Guess they were a little ahead of their time, or just valves. And i was so looking forward to tier 3 weapons....

Here's a few shots as I continue my reinstall of FS9. One of the toughest kites to fly in my opinion is Concorde. The panel really stretches both me and my PC so is a good indication that the reinstall is going ok so far. Paris to JFK without overspeeding, stalling or crashing on approach, good job even if I do say so myself.
PS: I did notice a bit of a texture problem on the top of the fuselage, two white ridges. Anyone else got the same on the PSS Concorde?

Battlefield Bad Company Locking Up During Game Play.

Almost every time I play BC it locks up. It only seems to lock up when I'm flying a helicopter or when there is a lot going on with the graphics. Almost as if the video can't keep up. Like when your trying to play a PC game that has too great of graphics for your video card and it keeps locking up. Anybody else have this problem? I was thinking about reinstalling the game but I don't know if it will lose my data or not.

What i experience is a wery odd and worrying pattern on my computer and its win XP Sp3
Every time i have reinstalled windows (yesterdays latest) the last 3 occasions the computer seem to have choosed out one of my largest sized and most popular folders on eatch harddrive i have other than the C:\ and makes them sluggish and slow browsing in the new installation,

Media Stuttering

Windows XP, 2 gigs ram, AMD 6000+, 8800gtx, asus m2n32, 500 gig seagate ata, 650w psu.
I've been having a pretty minor problem that's been driving me crazy. All media I run (streaming, flash, mp3s, mpgs, et al) stutters occasionally, about every 2-3 minutes but sometimes more frequently. HP dv8000 runs very slow..Help

A friends hp dv8000 notebook runs really really slow...takes 10 mins to load windows xp. I recommended she get more RAM which she got and I just installed...No help. Also defraged the hard drive, emptied cache, eliminated the not needed start up programs...Still runs slow. I am thinking about doing a system repair...But, never did such without disc's(Operating system is on separate partition) So, is reinstalling or repairing the operating system (win XP) fairly easy to do using the separate part...
