Okay guys...im a complete noob when it comes to anything Apple and the wifey is thinking of buying me a new desktop...
i hear a lot of good things about apples...main use for me will be internet browsing and heavy photo editting...
any opinions on apples in general...i've been anti-apple for a long time but have grown tired of the problems windows xp and vista have...heres the model im looking at and some stats...

Hello all.
As the title says, I'm a trial account, but the game so far has been fun for the most part, and was considering buying.
However, I have some questions, since I've seen a lot of things I haven't liked, and there are a lot of posters in this forum that made me think twice about the game, as well.
Last saturday I had a pretty good time on norland's orvr. For a couple of hours we capped and lost the objectives over and over against destruction. I got some decent gear for my meele warpries...

Thinking about buying a "max"

I have been having this nagging desire to get a max ever since my new 50" TV arrived at Xmas time. I have been trying to hold off for the past 5 months, but am slowly gravitating toward HD. I presently use a Kbox, which is an awesome box, have had viewsat pro, extreme, both of which were very good boxes.
I do like to experiment with different boxes, and would love to get some HD into my new TV. What I need to know is how happy are you guys with your Max receivers? HD working great? (at least the...

If anyone owns this card or has owned it I would like to opinions on quality and oc'ablility. I would assume due to it's extreme cooling it would rock but wanted to make sure because I'm really confused as to what graphics card to get after having problems with my previous one overheating and making the screen go black. If anyone does'nt recognize the card by it's name here it is at the egg.

Tour Edge - Exotics Extreme Wedges? Thoughts? Opinions?

So just returned from one of the annual golf buddy trips to Vegas and a good friend of mine was playing the Tour Edge - Exotics Extreme Wedges.
He swears by them and they look nice. Swung his 52 degree a couple times and they seem to have a nice balance. Any thoughts on these? Thanks....

So I wasnt much of a vintage player until about 2 months ago. I thought Extreme Games in the Round Lake Beach area was running a type 2 tourney on a sunday showed up to find out they were running type 1. Not having played the format in 14 years I asked the owner Eric for a random deck. He gave me a R/w aggr deck that ran painters servant, price of progress and mox monkeys.
