Greek or Latin

I'm thinking about taking a Classical language next semester. Unfortunately, my school only offers Classical Latin and Homeric Greek, while I am more interested in the Koine Greek and late Imperial/Medieval Latin. So my question to the experts here is, how much did these language evolve? Is learning Homeric Greek a good enough start for Koine/Byzantine or would I be wasting my time? And is learning Cicero going to help me read anything after 300 A.D? Thanks for any input. David Walker

have been practicing 180 turns without thinking about it, just feeling the mechanics as they want to move through my body, and the sequence of rotation in my body on the turn is torso-hips-head.
is this technically correct? it's been awhile since i worked on this with an instructor...
hoping that's the case, because it's moving so fluidly in that sequence.

Hello,
We are seriously thinking about moving to Columbus, OH from Miami, FL.
Main reason, cost of living and we are not much of a beach crowd anyways.

1) What is the tolerance towards latins? I am not the typical latin in many ways, but a look at me and you'll know I am not exactly from Russia. And my accent is still a little thick.

I am approaching the point where I am ready to upgrade from Traktor 3 and my BCD3000. I am asking for your opinions as to which route to go. I play house, top 40, some rap, assorted latin music.
These are pros and cons as I look at it.

I attend, and serve, at a Traditional Mass every Sunday 25 miles from home. However, I am a member of my local parish as I have been since birth.
The priest in my parish, as far as I can tell, is a good man...devout, humble, reverent and prayerful. While Sunday services are the usual Novus Ordo variety his weekday masses are very nice with the ordinary parts said in Latin and the Salve Regina sung beforehand.
