Hey guys, I actually live down in the bay area now of San Fran, but i'd liek to get multiple opinions...

I have always disliked Apple stuff and disregarded most of their stuff as overpriced trendy "gadgets".
But... I recently started using last.fm and after seeing the "iPod scrobbling" this got me thinking.

Hey all ..
well my Brother is finally able to get himself a contract Phone. After clearing out, we've decided to get him a shiny, nice Nokia 6220 Classic, cause i believe it will mostly fit his Needs. i know it doesnt have WLAN, but he gets a 1GB Data Plan with his Phone anyways, so that shouldnt be a problem .. 5MP + Xenon is perhaps the biggest Advantage he can have ..

J Mascis Vs Classic Player Jazzmaster: Opinions?

I'm jonsing badly for a JM. I really like the J Mascis model but also think the Sunburst Classic Player JM might be an option, also. I know the spec differences between the two, but I'm looking for opinions from folks out there who have owned and/or played either one or both.
One question I have is in regards to weight....I know the Thin Skin American made reissues on Wildwood's website run pretty consistently in the 8 lbs plus range....do these two models weigh more, less, or about the same in...

I'm abt to head up to one of the local mom n pop stores here shortly to, PROBABLY, purchase a Taylor SolidBody Classic (need to trade my Ric 360/12 string to afford it!). But I got an overwhelming GAS attack goin' on here!

Thinking about finally trying clipless, help me find a shoe

I've been thinking about giving clipless another shot, but the problem is, all the shoes look ridiculous to me. I really just don't think I can get into wearing neon velcro shoes. Do they make any modern SPD clipless shoes that have a classic look like the old leather lace up bike shoes everyone used to wear? I'd like something in a simple black, laces, no velcro(not only do I dislike the looks, it puts weird pressure on my feet), recessed cleats if possible, low top type shoe. Does this exist?...

American Classic, any options/opinions.

I'm looking at going disc on my current 26" FS bike. Primary use is XC in Vegas, meaning very rocky/jagged. Rider weight is 160-165 loaded. SS or 1x9 depending on mood/craziness. (yes I said FS/SS)
I'm thinking american classic hubs because of the weight. They must be disc obviously. The rims need to be UST. I'd like to keep it around $400.
So, good call? Other options?
Finally, where can I source a decent pre-built or custom built (considering my price range) set of these?

Barone Classic vs Jupiter Artist vs B&S 2001- Opinions/Experiences?

I am thinking to pick up a tenor sax, and narrowed down the choices to the above 3 models - the Barone Classic, Jupiter 889SG and B&S2001 tenors. Obviously, the first two are Asian made horns, while the B&S is German.
