1. Did Sarah Palin Cost John McCain the Election?   (13 Apr 2009)
Did Sarah Palin Cost John McCain the Election? I think this is a very good question, which could possibly lead to an interesting debate. Personally when I think of the ideal candidate that can lead this great nation of ours- I want that person to be smarter than me. Quite frankly that was not evident in Sarah Palin, she couldnt name any newspapers that she read daily off hand (sure after thinking about it for a couple of days she came up with a few.) She was unfamiliar with Foreign Policy. I jus...

2. Sen. McCain: Panetta Should Retract His Comments on Cheney Immediately   (16 Jun 2009)
Source: Fox (Greta van Susteren) GRETA VAN SUSTEREN, FOX NEWS HOST: Did you hear this? CIA director Leon Panetta says former vice president Dick Cheney wants America to be attacked. What provoked this statement? Well, it all started with former VP Cheney's speech on May 21st. The former vice president said banning enhanced interrogation methods would make America less safe and called it "recklessness cloaked in righteousness." ... Now, we asked Senator John McCain about the Panetta-Cheney showdo...

3. What do you think about Obama's childhood home possibly becoming a landmark...   (10 Apr 2009)
Here's one of the stories about it. I personally think that it's ridiculous, and I hope it doesn't go through. I don't like Obama, but it's not him that really gets me worried (I don't think things would be all that much different if McCain was in charge), but the way people treat him. This is one of those examples.

4. Tommorrow on C-Span's "Washington Journal" - Senator John McCain and Bob ...   (23 Jun 2009)
I don't think they are on together, so I don't expect a repeat of the nauseating attempt Bob made to fluff McCain this past Sunday. But get your Twitter questions and email questions in now. And get on the phone from 7-10 Eastern. I find it disgusting that at times this old farthead gets airtime to undercut Obama. And you can see in his eyes that it's sheer spite motivating him. YOU LOST, SENATOR. And by a wide, wide margin. Get over it. He'll be strumming a tune in memory of Neda, the Angel of...

5. JD Hayworth vs McCain in 2010?   (25 May 2009)
For those who may not know him, JD Hayworth of Phoenix, served admirably in the US Congress for 12 years until he was unseated by a simpering lib. JD was a broadcaster before his tenure in Congress, and is now at KFYI radio in Phx. He is quite articulate and thinks on his feet as quickly as anyone I know. He just got back from testifying to a Congressional committee on immigration last Wednesday. He was invited by certain persons of the Immigration committee chaired by Schumer. JD was debating w...

6. Ted Sampley - who smeared Kerry and McCain died this week -   (15 May 2009)
Here is his local paper's write up - that though kinder than deserved - even at the time of his death ends by saying, " Ted Sampley has every right to express his opinions, extreme though they may be. Too bad he and others don't recognize that Sen. Kerry, when he returned from Vietnam, also had every right to express his opinions about that war." He did a huge amount of damage to the country - not just in any marginal impact he had on 2004 - which was so close that many can claim they (or the la...

7. Roberta McCain on Tonight Show (& other rambling)   (16 May 2009)
Anyone else see her & have opinions? She was positively nasty about Olberman. They didn't ask her about her son, other than a joking "His picture as a little boy looks so sweet; where did you go wrong". And she liked Michael Steele better than Rush Limbaugh. Anybody notice that when Limbaugh is caught dead to rights being an idiot he's "just an entertainer" but if a national-level politician suggests he's "just an entertainer" they have to apologize? I did a google search on HOW MANY folks apolo...

8. I am John McCain, I can't lift my arms up.   (23 May 2009)
Well, just one of them. I just wanted to Quote: that song. I can only lift my right arm so it's almost straight out to the side. Then it stops moving and starts feeling weird. It hurts but it's not like a sharp pain, and it feels kinda heavy. I can move it up more but I have to stop and really focus on it and it's very slow compared to how quickly I normally move. And it feels weird the whole time. It's hard to drink a bottle of water with the arm. The pain feels like it's mostly in the shoulder...

9. Obamma and McCain to Speak at Columbia today 9/11   (18 May 2009)

10. Is Meghan McCain the Future of the Republican Party?   (12 May 2009)
I'd vote for her in a second if she ever runs for anything. Does anyone know her position on gun rights? She's figured out what older Republican leaders haven't. People don't want government interference in their bedrooms. http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/articl...MNAR17IFN6.DTL Quote: : Is Meghan McCain the new face of the GOP? Carla Marinucci, Chronicle Political Writer Tuesday, May 12, 2009 (05-11) 21:29 PDT -- Republican leaders frantically seeking to rebrand their party might want to swing the...
