Obama wants to release some of the GITMO detainees into the US. It's in the news today, google it. My question to you is, what do you think?
We've previously release what we believed to be very low risk detainees, just to pick them up again for continued terrorist activity. What do you think about moving them to US soil?

Old hands in this forum may recall (!) my degree of unease at the way this country's government is allowed to get away with all sorts of things related to the taking - and then the keeping - of DNA samples.

We are both in diagnostic limbo. My son started having myoclonic seizures a year ago. He also has sensory issues, OCD, and angry outbursts. He is very sensitive to voice inflection. Smogon Stage 3 Suspect Testing

Yeah, it has started. You can find the thread here . This basically means that ghosts of the past (Deoxys-S and Garchomp, long time no see!) will be back to play on Smogon's new suspect ladder, whenever it's up. To summarize, all of the following suspects will be allowed on the same suspect ladder:
Shaymin-S
Garchomp
Latios
Manaphy
Latias
Deoxys-S

Mercedes A-Class - opinions?

Following a bit of a redundancy thing, we're in the market for a car around £3 - 4k.
It needs to be a 5 door hatch, the usual suspects being the focus and astra, but we've been looking at an A class which are coming in much cheaper than I though. Wife quite likes the idea of MPV practicality with a smaller body than our scenic.
We're looking at This A140 which seems to have low mileage and good spec (a lot dont seem to have air-con).
Anyone had one / driven one / used one?

What do you think about this...
What do you people think about this as a first car? Any opinions about Clios? It hasnt got the mileage on there but I suspect it wouldnt be over 100,000 miles. Neither do I know about the Mot or Tax. I rang this evening but they wouldnt answer, I was hoping to go and visit them tomorrow and just buy it there and there, if it drives well of course.
So apart from the above questions, do you think the dealer will lower the price, say maybe to £1000 from their price...

Okay so to start of with, I live in new zealand. So it isn't that serious here. There is about 30 confirmed cases and 400 suspected. But i think that the media are making a big deal about it. Let me show you why i think so.
Take the swine flu and the common flu.
In about 2 months, The swine flu has made about 700,000 cases world wide.
Yet the flu has about 4,000,000 cases world wide also.
The swine flu has killed about 500.
The common flu kills about 100 or more a day
People shouldn't be taking...

hello everyone
i am an 18 y/o female who has been feeling sick for the last few months:
-irregular periods (every 2 weeks) for awhile
-fatigue (i am exhausted even after 10 hours of sleep on weekends)
-asthma
-calf pain
-on/off muscle twitching (my entire body)
-i have developed anxiety and even ocd like tendencies since sept of 2008
-brain fog/lack of concentration (its hard for me to keep up my high marks in school which is troubling)
