Lookinf for opinions on whether to join a hockey league or not.

I am currently 40 years old and I play in pick up games on Sunday. A few of the guys close to my age want to join a summer league. I know the starting time frames for the games should be a little bit earlier (possibly 8-10) becuase all of the high school kids are out of school. The season is 10 games and playoffs. I want to do it, but I am concered I may wipe out my energy for work.
I would appreciate some feedback and what your ages are if you play in a similar league.

Alright, so, I am trying out for this "premier" baseball league, and there are about 7 teams. About 200 kids total have tried out. There have been 5 tryouts so far, and I went to everyone of them. I find out if I make it tomorrow. I think I did good, I hit the ball well for the most part, I fielded okay, etc. But I am seriously scared to find out the outcome of tomorrow!
Sorry I am just nervous.

It is not reliable especially when you managed semi professional club at the lowest league. You have no idea about all the player ability. Scout / Ass report is important.
Every time you want to buy new player for you team the team repo...

Opinions My 2009 League Draft - 1 Keeper

As in sig, we Keep 1 player per team(10 Teams) each year. I placed 7th last year, thus pick 3rd in 2009. Our round 1 is our keepers, this leaves a few RB Studs other teams cannot keep... I.E. Forte, SJax, LT, CJ3, Portis, Gore, etc.
My Pick Positions(Serpentine) 1.7(Keeper), 2.3, 3.7, 4.3,
Since I'll be keeping Adrian Peterson at 1.7, should I take another running back Stud at 2.3 or go with QB Stud or WR Stud.
FYI...I mock drafted several times already and at 3.7 seems to fall are QB Rivers, Ro...

Thinking about switiching to worse team...

I play in a B level adult rec league and I've played center on my current team for a few years. The team chemistry is great, we are the only undefeated team in the league. Except, the team is stacked now, and alot of the players want to keep running up the score and getting more goals for themselves. I've started to get bored clobbering teams that don't have as many players or have players who are just starting to learn/ improve etc.. and getting less ice time because of a over crowded roster/ p...

I believe that if you listed every major league player in history alphabetically, tonight's starting pitchers would be adjacent to each other. I wonder if that's ever happened before...
Originally I thought about Joe and Phil Niekro, but nowadays Lance splits them.
BTW, the pitcher right before Volquez alphabetically seems to be Bill Voiselle, who was the only major league player to wear his hometown name on his uniform (he was from Ninety-Six, North Carolina).

that the Championship, League 1 and League 2 forums had their own individual team forums.
These 3 forums are extremely active every day and I feel individual forums would be used just as much.
The likes of SPL have team forums and some of them are barely used if at all.
I think there should be a Poll to see if people want this or not.
Is there anyway this will ever happen ?
