Hi Gang,
Now that I have been in the business for a year and have handled a ton of cars I thought I would kick off a thread on the new releases. Sort of a year in review.
All our Cars are run magnet out on a 70 ft, 6 lane, painted Scaley track with a variable power supply and a Trackmate lap Timer. We run at 12 volys most of the time.

PROBLEM 1
We've been out shopping but I'm really stuck for a decision this time?
The candidates are/were my order of preference (i) Calais V (think they may be discontinued now) (ii) R8 Tourer & finally at (iii) SSV (wags only of course)

Need Opinions on New Car:

So my dad currently is driving an '04 745Li. His lease is up in September and we are looking at new cars. The new 7 is too big for his needs, so I suggested an E60 M5 I'm looking for suggestions around the same price as the M5. He wanted to look at the Range Rover Sport Supercharged, but it seems too plain It can be a 2 door, but it has to be a good daily driver, S5 or R8 Does anyone have any suggestions that would be helpful?

Okay, I checked out some of the hot racing games (all sequels) and formed some definite opinions:

Thinking of upgrading my HTC Vogue

Well I was the first person to buy an HTC Touch ( Vogue) in Prince Edward Island back in Dec of 2007. I had to educate the Aliant staff (now Bell Aliant) on the fact that although the touch was indeed a smart phone it qualified for the $5.00 unlimited browser. Anyway....in the last year I have upgraded the Rom to NSFAN roms, now sporting the newest 6.5 R8 rom. Anyway....the Roms really make the phone much easier to use quickly and fun to use.

I'll update this post with times from the test track in my supper room.
Scaley Sport against two walls 7'ish one way 10'ish feet the other way. One crossover and two power taps.
PS26 power set 12 volts at the rails.
3rd Eye controller minimum brakes.
DS300 timing.

I love cars generally, and I have been driving for almost 3 years now, I decided to make a megathread about cars because of my love for them, as I am sure many Facepunchers drive or like cars.
I'll start off with my top 4 dream cars that I would have immediately, along with an explaination of why I love them. I'm probably going to get one of the bottom three when I graduate, but the top one is way over budget.
