Black Joe Lewis & The Honeybears - Tell 'Em What Your Name Is
Any opinions on this album? I am under the spell of seeing them live last night and may not exactly be objective. But I think this is a solid album from start to finish. It kicks off with the stellar Gunpowder and Sugarfoot and cruises through a set of fast, hard-hitting nuggets of joy. If this don't get your ass moving, you are probably dead. Get Yo Shit! Indeed!

Was C.S. Lewis a Mormon? - Campus

Was C.S. Lewis a Mormon?
I find this fascination that Mormon's have with C.S. Lewis very interesting. C.S. Lewis does mention becoming a "god" in many of his works.
I think it would be a good discussion to think about how Lewis actually viewed this idea and why Mormons are attracted to him.

Comeback kid leaves Lewis Hamilton to skulk out of town
Kevin Eason, Sports News Correspondent
Jenson Button jumped from his car and sprinted around the Monte Carlo track he had just dominated on four wheels to claim the greatest prize of his young life. Button had been so overwhelmed as he absorbed victory in the Monaco Grand Prix, the most glamorous and famous of motor races, that he mistakenly turned right when he should have...

The one who lost to Lewis
(04 Jun 2009)
Many years ago, there were two kids who were involved in McLaren's Young Driver program. We all know about the famous one, Lewis Hamilton, but what about that other guy?
Here's a picture from 1997:
See the kid on the left with the glasses? His name is Wesley Graves. Today he's unemployed & living with his parents. Here's his story:
Quote: »
Ten years ago, two boys were splashed over the newspapers when they became the youngest drivers signed by McLaren. Lewis Hamilton was 13 and already had a ce...

Hedgemon Lewis
(28 May 2009)
By Jim Amato
It was a forgotten name from the glorious late 60s and early 70s. His name is Hedgemon Lewis. Hedgemon is now just a footnote in welterweight championship history. New York State Athletic Commission once recognized him as World Champion after he whipped favorite son Billy Backus a few times. The real champion of that era was the Hall Of Fame great Jose Mantequilla Napoles. Lewis twice met Napoles for world honors losing the first fight on a very close verdict. In the return ma...

LB Ray Lewis - 2009 Projections
(13 Jun 2009)
I was wondering what the experts here think about Ray Lewis?
Norton is projecting him:
Tackles 88
Assits 35
Sacks 4
Pass Defended 10
This would ranking him the #6 LB this yr.
How do you guys feel about these projections?
What about how the new DC will affect his stats?
Lastly, how many yrs do you think he has left at this level?
Thanks!!

In the corner of nearly every Magic players locker Dwight Howards is a notable exception Orlandos coaching staff has taped gentle notes of emphasis.

Rashard Lewis: An appreciation
(27 May 2009)
Orlando's quiet star. Despite his galactic contract, he works hard, keeps out of trouble, and oh yeah... hits incredibly clutch 3-pointers. If you thought Tim Duncan was quiet, this guy many times seems off the radar.
I wish he were a lot better defensively, but hell, that's about the only beef I have with this guy.
