Thinking about Q5 GLK and X3 opinions please

Currently thinkin of getting,
2009 Q5 3.2 Premium with Navigation, technology and S-line package
2010 GLK350 full spec
2009 X3 xDrive 3.0i (would go for the 3.0si but I don't see it on their site. Is it still avaliable?)
I priced them online and the Q5 came out around 56500, GLK350 is around 53500, and X3 is around 5600. What do you guys think about the 3 cars?? As well, does anybody have CCC reports for Q5 and X3? I believe that the GLK350 report is on one of the threads. If you guys dont mind...

Well as you will know if you read my other thread, I thought I had found the perfect (or near anyway!) horse. However, I have now learnt a few more things about him - and would value your advice about whether to go ahead (luckily no money has changed hands yet).
1. He is a bit bargy both in and out of the stable - as in he will push you with his head. He is fine to lead though. Is this easy to cure? He has been a bit spoilt I think and even his owner admits that - she lets him gra...

Hi Gang,
Now that I have been in the business for a year and have handled a ton of cars I thought I would kick off a thread on the new releases. Sort of a year in review.
All our Cars are run magnet out on a 70 ft, 6 lane, painted Scaley track with a variable power supply and a Trackmate lap Timer. We run at 12 volys most of the time.

Hello everyone,
Looking to get an A3, I currently have an 02 VW Gti, but since my wife and I are expecting our 2nd child the 2 door has to go. Im currently looking @ this 2006 A3 S-line. Tell me guys what you think. Any horror stories regarding that year? I know its the first year of US production and from hanging around here and other websites it seems to be that the AC compressor seems to go a lot. Also whats the deal w/ panoramic roof, it looks like a nice option but any complaints about it f...

Thoughts/opinions on the Line 6 DM4 distortion?

I worked for a band a few years ago and one of the Line 6 reps came out with some gear to try as 'gifts'.
Among them, some individual pedal; a Crunchtone, an Echo Park (which I still have both) and a Space Chorus (dunno what happened to that one)
And a couple 'multi's, the DL 4 and the DM 4.
Well, this wasn't a distortion band, so the DM went home when the rep went home and I didn't get much time with it. Likewise did the Variax 600. Just too creepy and weird feeling to play.

A Word About Line Jumpers

There was I time I detested line jumping. I really resented it. After reading contrary opinions here on the disboards, I began to open up to the idea. However, on my most recent trip, I saw more line jumping than ever before, and it really bothered me.
I understand all the varying circumstances that could lead to a person wanting or 'having' to line jump. Ive read them already.
But the next time you line jump..turn around. look behind you to see the reactions. Look behind you and count how many...

I changed the pipes on my 06 650i. Replaced main resonator with Xpipe and magnaflows. Added 18HP, sounds very nice. Added nice off the line response and power. Also 1.3 mpg more!
The car is fast, but I need more.
This car is heavy and it needs some muscle. I cannot afford an M6, so looking to finish the upgrades. The engine breathes much better...so thinking about
an air intake claiming 12hp gain.

Negrini Evolution uniform...opinions?

Negrini Evolution uniform...opinions? I'm looking at purchasing Negrini Evolution fencing gear and I'm looking for comments. It looks like this line is relatively new (fall 2008) and I don't see it mentioned much in this forum. So, does anyone have Evolution fencing gear? What do you think about it?

Opinions on Fly Lines

I'm finally going to knuckle under and replace some dry fly fly-line.
I've been fishing Cortland Clear Creek Taper WF lines on my 4, 5 and 6 wt rods for years now (same old line). I like the muted green color. I've always struggled to understand how folks catch fish with those neon yellow lines.
Anyway, I've been reading and see a lot of good reviews on the Rio and Rio Gold lines and although the price is a bit outrageous, the Sharkskin lines seem interesting, but the comments on their tendency...

Thinking about DVC

I am thinking about DVC at BLT & aprox. 180 points. We were offered a $5 incentive. The only things holding us back are:
1) We were looking at a cruise with our next Disney trip; however, it does not seem worth it to use the points for a cruise. We were told that they were running an incitive for current memebers for an free cruise with the purchase of an additional 100 pts. While we would love to be able to join at 160 pts. & buy the additional 100 pts. for the free cruise, 260 pts. is way more...
