I have recently stumbled upon a hefty real estate commission, and I think I want to treat myself to a new pistol..you know, as a reward to myself I'm liking the Pro Covert II and think it might be the one.

We are one of the unlucky ones to not get a place for our child in his catchment school. We have been offered Thameside and really don't know a huge amount about it apart from reading the Ofsted.
It has a new head, and I would imagine potential, but what is it really like as a school? Any thoughts greatly appreciated!

Opinions on new primary anchor

Folks,
Need to replace my primary anchor as it was bent by someone who hit my boat and bent it in the pulpit. I boat and fish on the south shore of LI which typically is sandy or mussel beds, fast currents and typically not very deep. I have a 25' cc and have 15' of chain. Occasionally in high winds or current my 14lb danforth would break loose so I'd like to remedy this,

I am thinking of applying to SGU. I have a 3.32 science gpa total and a 3.378 overall from uva and 3.52 overall from w&m. Both great top public schools. I have not taken my MCATs and don't expect to do too hot.
I am thinking about reapplying next year, look at D.O for this year, or going SGU for the Jan 2010. If I did SGU and wanted to go into internal medicine, can I feel confident that even if I was a average to above average student that I would get a residency in the US? Or is the compet...

Comcast using TiVo as primary DVR

Hello,
A couple days ago, I ordered a HDTV off Amazon.com.
One reason I bought it was it included $300. off the price if I also bought a TiVo HD box.
Today I am reading that Comcast (my cable company) is teaming up with TiVo as their primary DVR.
(Google it, I am not allowed to provide a link)
Before reading this, I was thinking about getting a lifetime membership with TiVo. Now I am not so sure.
Seems to me that if Comcast is going to provide the same TiVo service, and provide me with the hardw...
