I was thinking about this today, my parents told me loads of horse crap.. apart from the big things like santa easter bunny etc..
Things like if you watch TV all day your eyes will go square..
If you pull faces and the wind changes your face will be stuck like that forever..
If i didn't to the washing up, Freddie would come into my room at night and slice my hands off..
I mean parents don't half come out with claptrap, I didn't wash up last night and my hands are fine and dandy

Good evening Salam. There is a lot of wisdom in your words, and yet many seem incapable of accepting that.
That isn't to suggest that one day they will not look back in regret and wish that they had not dismissed your thoughts so off-handedly. It matters little to me that you find words from any source. My thanks go to you for sharing your findings.

Fakes, and lies.
I have spent the last 7 years of my life being "friends" with someone online. I trusted them, and every word that came out of their mouth (across the screen). I have been emotionally scarred and psychologically damaged by the lies told early on in the "friendship" when I was a teen. I believed it all, every last drop because I was naive and gullible up until last week
I befriended this person when I was 16 years old, (please keep that in mind while reading this) I was young, dum...

The following lies were taught to me in college when I was an undergraduate. Now the same lies are appearing in university graduate classes I am taking. The lies are so prevalent that my adult children also in college face the same falsehoods as well.

A dilemma for you all - what would you do?
