1. Change cells for that of larger capacity   (20 Apr 2009)
Hey guys i was wondering if anyone has changed out the stock 2100mah cells in the stock mini 9 battery for something of larger capacity... say some of these 3000mah cells? http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.21474 3000mah would equal ~ 43% more battery life which would be very nice. Im just wondering if the charging circuitry will handle it... id imagine it would just take longer to charge. Thoughts opinions?

2. Opinions on jegs fuel cells   (16 May 2009)
http://www.jegs.com/p/JEGS/837888/10002/-1 http://www.jegs.com/p/RCI/755349/10002/-1 Hi Guys I was wondering if these fuel cells would be good for off roading. They are almost half the price compared to other cells. Would this be a good option for racing, would it be race legal? any thoughts or insight would be a great help, thanks

3. Ra Twisty and Unprotected Cells?   (30 Apr 2009)
thinking about taking the plunge cheaply. I know that unprotected cells are normally Bad News(tm) unless you're anal about them, or have a circuit to protect them. Fortunately, Ra built a circuit to protect them. I'm thinking about a Nano Charger and 1-2 unprotected cells, maybe IMRs for forwards compatibility. (G2Z with P91?) Are LiFePO4 compatible with Ra's firmware? Anybody sell them/chargers yet? What are the merits of unprotected cells in this configuration? Risks not compensated for by the...

4. fuel cells   (25 Jun 2009)
Crap, just lost my post....have to type it again That sucked.. Anyhow, I am thinking about putting a fuel cell in the bed of my Scout80. I dont run the full hard top anymore(any body want a full top?) Instead I like running the half cab and bikini top. So no worries about the "fuel smell" inside a closed vehicle. I have spotted a few tanks that look great, but would like to see more pics of fuel cells that are already mounted in your scouts. The question is.... post up your "fuel cell" pics and...

5. Scared! Atypical Glandular cells.   (09 Jun 2009)
Hi, I'm new to this board. After years of normal annual paps, I had a pap smear with ASCUS two years ago(with an HPV negative test). Due to my having exposure to DES (synthetic hormone given to pregnant women in 70's to prevent miscarriage, linked to cancer, infertility and defects in offspring), my doctor performed a Colposcopy and ECC. Results were fine. I returned 6 months later with a normal pap result. I went for my annual pap two weeks ago (1 year since my last pap) and received a pap repo...

6. More cells, or less flybar?   (12 May 2009)
I'm looking for more power out of my Trex600, I understand I could easily go up to 8S/10S from the stock setup with a battery and motor upgrade, but the question is.. Could I just go flybarless and get the same power as I would from a motor and battery upgrade? The V-bar looks awesome and that is the route I would choose along with the Kasama head, or I could go for a Scorpion motor and larger batteries. I just cant decide which route would offer the best performance and the lowest cost. I alrea...

7. I need some red blood cells!   (03 May 2009)
I had a freak accident last weekend involving a big sharp knife, stab wound in my butt, severed artery, a couple of amublance rides, surgery and a few days in the hospital. I'm home recovering now and wondering how seriously this will impact my spring/summer racing plans. Blood loss from the accident was significant (probably in the neighborhood of 2 liters) and getting my red blood count back to normal seems like the biggest limiter in terms of returning to pre-accident form. The doc opted not...

8. 100 reasons to change the way we think about genetics   (28 May 2009)
So check out the following article. I have added my own comments (in red) to help illuminate the whole picture. http://www.eurekalert.org/pub_releas...-1rt051809.php 100 reasons to change the way we think about genetics (100 reasons to forget science's lies) Public release date: 18-May-2009 For years, (more like three quarters of a century) genes have been considered (because evo-darwinist scientists have told us so) the one and only way biological traits could be passed down through generations...

9. Should the use of stem cells in medical research be permitted?   (21 Apr 2009)
Stem cell research has recently became a hot topic in the U.S. after Obama lifted bans implemented by the previous administration, bringing it to the spotlight and in response, many people have voiced their opinions. What is your opinion on stem cell research? Many regard stem cell research, particularly those on the pro-life end of the spectrum, to be unethical as it is using potential life - it's a common belief among this group that an embryo should have the same rights as a human being. Othe...

10. Wireless 2.4 Ghz camera, battery and solar cells   (30 May 2009)
Hi everyone. I am new here, my name is Brett. I live in Sarasota FL. I joined this forum when I ran across it, because I know everyone here can help me with my project. Its very similar to what you guys are doing and I hope to get an airplane and put a camera on it some time in the future or on my RC nitro car for remote piloting/driving type stuff.. I live just down the street from the Sarasota RC squadron flight field. Its a nice little runway with a private security gate, so members can go up...
