Good departments south of Atlanta

Ok, I'm thinking about applying to join the dark side and looking for input.
I have a pretty good feel on some great departments around Atlanta, but I'm looking to stay near home, which is now going to be Fayette Co.
Gwinnett and Cobb are too far.
Clayton County is out of the question unless someone could really convince me.
Atlanta = No way. sorry APD guys, cant have me
Henry county is an option but seems to be only accepting POST certified.

Atlanta's Refuel Biodiesel - experiences and opinions ?

Fellow Atlanta-area biodiesel users,
I recently started using or trying to use Refuel Biodiesel. The first time I went a couple of weeks ago, I was able to fill-up with 14.5 gallons or so of B100 and was very happy.
However, when I stopped by Wednesday afternoon (2009-06-18) this week, they were completely out of B100 and even B20. So, that was a wasted trip. I then had to *shudder* fill up with dino-diesel at the commercial pump. I'm guessing they ran out so quickly since the B20 and even B100...

This is the same type of thread that has been posted many times, but I still need opinions. I am a single parent in my mid forties with a child in middle school. I live in Charlotte, NC and I am trying to decide if I want to relocate to Atlanta or DC metro. I lived in Atlanta for 10 years during the 90's so I am familiar with it. So I got this car about a year ago with 12,000 miles on it. The car had multiple issues from wiring to leaking calipers to a bad alternator. So after about 6 months of it sitting at home while I was at school and $4,000 later, it is up a running like a top. Now that it has been around for a few months, what do you all think about the new product over at WGCL? To be honest, I've become quite a fan. It's a vast improvement over their old product. It's visually appealing, hard-hitting, and not filled with fluff. Given 11 Alive's recent woes, I'm starting to think that CBS Atlanta could start to dig their way out of their 4th place hole. What say you all?
