thinking about a new carry .45 thinking about Kahr, need opinions

I recently handled a kahr .45 and really liked it, but I had a few issues. first I found the trigger gaurds shape to be a little uncomfortable(i can live with it though) and second I am nervous about it not having any external safty. those of you with a kahr do you carry with one in the chamber. Also I have never fired one, so what does every one think of how they shoot?
I am in the market cause Although I love my xd 45acp it is just too bulky and heavy for conceled carry for me. So far the Kahr...

We live in a 3200 square foot 2 level home. We have 3 units. For the past several years, we've used a window unit to help cool down the larger bedroom while allowing the AC unit to cool the other 2 bedrooms. I'm so tired of the noise of the window unit and the inconvenience of getting DH to install and remove it each season. Plus it can't be that energy effecient.

Hey fellow Primers...
A buddy of mine, well, I consider him a buddy because he used to throw me the keys to his 92 NSX when he was in town and told me to have fun, just dont wreck it or drink and drive . Anyway, hes more a great friend of a buddy and a buddy of mine.. well,...anyway..

I'm 21 years old, 22 at the end of the year. I graduated high school in 2005 and I still live with my parents, go to a local community college, and have exactly half of my transfer classes I need to transfer to a UC or Cal State or something.. or somewhere else..? I just feel lost. I first wanted to do Pharmacy, but it's way too much work for me especially because I absolutely hate chemistry/biology. So I have 60 hours on my WR and decided to give it a really good cleaning, mostly because here in Eastern KS I have been riding in the mud for the last 2months straight. Come on dry season! Thinking about getting FIOS

I live in northern NJ and have had Cablevision for my TV and internet for years. I've had no problems with them and the service is good if there's ever a problem. The only problem I have is that it's expensive. If I switch to Verizon FIOS, I can save $60 per month.
Can I get some opinions from the people who have FIOS? Is the internet as fast as Cable? Is the TV picture clearer? Is it worth it to change or am I just opening up a can of worms?
My neighborhood's all wired for FIOS, did anyone have...

Thinking about gars...

OK, so one of my lfs' has some Florida Gars that I've been watching for the last month or so. Every time I go in, I like them more and more.
My largest tank right now is a 125g (72x18x22). I don't want to get a gar if it can't live in this tank for at least a few years, as my expansion plans are slightly limited right now.
As of now, the only fish I plan on having in this tank are a pair of pbass (3.5" and 5.5" respectively), which I already have. The gar(s) that I'm looking at are about 7-8 inc...

My wife and I were born and raised in MN and we are looking for some change. I'm 22, my wife 21. no kids. but we will eventually. I've got some freinds who grew up in Co. springs and are try to convince us to move.
