Laying here in bed, thinking about getting up, thinking about my homies (dead and otherwise) holdin' it down in the GBN. Talked with Roady the other day. Sounds like some things never change.
Haven't touched the sticks in almost a month. Someone SHOULD be buying the PS3 and games for $350 total any day now. It goes straight to the B-Dawg Legal Defense Fund.

Thinking About getting a Dual Sport

Hey guys im thinking about getting a dual sport... drz400, dr650, or xr650.
What would you guys recommend? Im planning on just using it to commute back and forth to work (country roads) and do some trail riding every once in a while on the way home from work. What do you guys think would be my best bet? Do i need to do anything special to register it????

Does anyone have opinions on the upside and the downside of those two tires? I did a search and found lots of threads on Pirelli vs Roads, Metzlers vs Roads, etc but did not see any comparing those two. I am going to get one or the other and wanted to know if anyone had any personal experience with both Roads and Roads2. 2002 BMW R1150R

Finished the break-in period, gave the car a wash and decided to go for a quick ride.
Holy crap!! This car is fast! Fast, fast, fast!
I went out for a quick ride out on some country roads, this car makes my Subaru look like a Prius.
No mods, I haven't put in the JB+ I got yet, and I can already see getting a few traffic tickets.
She pulls like a freight train, corners like it's on rails and brakes like I threw an anchor out.

thinking about getting out of riding

So as the title says i have thought about getting off the bike for a while. I dont get to ride very often AT ALL anymore. That is due to kids, meetings, softball, church, and so on. yes i can ride to those things (except the kids) but were talkin about literaly a 1-2 miles ride on straight flat roads. Anyone else gone through this? I also dont have as much drive to get out and ride either although i still do have some. So anyway thats what im going though comments? suggestions?

Thinking about selling and going auto

Anyone gone from a manual transmission to an automatic without regrets? I have been thinking of selling it and getting the same year/model but automatic. Sometimes I just get tired of the shifting, especially when I am running the A/C and the car lags so much (and there are many roads here that are on hills). Since I use the A/C a lot here, driving the manual requires being even more precise shifting and clutch/gas pedal coordination to achieve a smooth ride (I'm too impatient for that sometimes...

Well I had to take my blade down to Lings today for them to take some photos of the tank cover as it has worn the paint down at a few places and for a year old bike with (at the time) less than 3k miles on it this should not be happening, hopefully they will replace it under the warranty as I do not fancy a £600 bill to put it back to how it should be. Once I get the replacement I will take it down to S&S to get a couple of shots of laquer over the top just to give it a bit more protection (do n...

Crazy that this seems to be a serious trend on this board recently, but I too am at a cross roads with my accord. It's been in my family since it was bought with 13 miles on it off of the lot. It's been mine since I bought it back in 2004 from my mom.

Thought I'd throw up my gear list I'm taking on the Grand Enchantment Trail for which I leave in a few days. The G.E.T. is 730 miles from the Superstition Wilderness outside Phoenix, AZ to Sandia Crest outside Albuquerque, NM. Not really a trail itself, but it uses some sections of the AZT and Continental Divide Trail as well as many other trails, forest roads and cross country segments.
