New idea for long-jump measurement

So I was just thinking about how long jumps are measured with 1m long sticks not more than 1cm thick, and at a competition this may be fairly effective, but i came up with a new method for consideration that will be more effective, and easier to see... use duck tape.
i'm going to make some little bridge type things to hold the tape straight, and use this method to measure my jumps when i feel like being all official or whatever... and to see if it will actually work.

Rock N Roll bed measurments / how to (z bed)

Finding the measurements or any directions for installing a rock and roll bed, z-bed (yes I know it is not a z bed, but many call it that), is nearly impossible, and the measurements included are incorrect/not sufficient. It is pretty well known around here that a 200mw blu ray laser, is going to burn a heck of a lot better than a 200mw red laser.
So if this is even a possibility, I would like to propose a forum- wide unit of measurement, it should indicate "energy intensity". I figure that the more "intense" the energy emitted from the laser (or the energy density) (no matter its wavelength), the better the energy is applied to a target, (the more work is done). I have had Myrtle Wood trim since I bought my e46 over two years ago. I have always liked it, and thought it was a touch of class. It reminded me of being in a private jet almost... he-he!

A few days before I made it, I visited my favourite gothic shop (I don't know why I love it so much, as I am far away from being punk or gothic. But that they are the biggest importer for corsets here in vienna might have something to do with that.)

As some of you may have seen here, I'm thinking about lifting my 2wd truck with a 3" lift kit (not body) and 1 or 2 inch spacer in the front to level it out. Attached is an edited pic of my truck lifted 4" in front and 3" in the rear. I'm thinking 5" in front would make my truck look better. Comments, good and bad, requested/accepted.
