Thinking about going to Germany. Any tips?
(01 Jul 2009)
As a present to the girlfriend for her graduation in 8 months I am thinking about taking her on a trip to Germany. Her undergrad is in history and teaching with an emphasis in Nazi Germany. My family has a jewish history and I have always wanted to see the historical sites of Germany.
So any tips? Probably want to see things pertaining to World War 2 and Nazi Germany.
I am not asking to place out an itinerary, just some tips in addition to WikiTravel.

Body 1st because they are cheaper. then palnning for a sus in the future

Quote: : IT may be a double standard, but actress and film-maker Rachel Ward says young starlets just have to accept that audiences have a right to see them - but not men - naked.
After refusing to bare more than her breasts throughout her career, Ward says she now wishes she had appeared fully nude more often.
"If you're going to be an actress in film, you can't be coy," Ward told The Sunday Telegraph.
"Breasts are sexy. I want to se...

If you had free reign to spend 12 months in Germany?
(23 Apr 2009)
Hello all, I might be able to relocate to Germany from Newcastle for a 12 month period for a new work prospect. I have literally free reign to start my business anywhere in Germany.
Where would you recommend I live for 12 months?
I am 33 and single so would like to stay somewhere with a good nightlife and culture with friendly people and not too scary in terms of crime rates. Year round good weather would be a bonus (constant rain and grey would remind me too much of the UK!) and good transport...

Should we go and visit Spain or Germany?
(19 Jun 2009)
On separate occasions, my wife and I have taken two-week vacations to England, France, and Italy. I know this is not enough time to see a country, and we only really saw the north of France and the north of Italy.
Anyway, for our next trip, we would like to either go to Spain (and Portugal?) or to Germany, but we don't know what to see in either place.
We went to Barcelona as part of a Mediterranean cruise once, and enjoyed that city. The problem is that I don't know enough about what I should g...
