The US defence secretary has asked the country's commander in Afghanistan to step down, saying the battle against the Taleban needs "new thinking".
Robert Gates confirmed Gen David McKiernan would effectively be sacked less than a year after taking command.
He will be replaced by Gen Stanley McChrystal, who is seen as having a better understanding of the conflict.
The change comes as the US boosts troops numbers in Afghanistan and prepares for a change in strategy.

Today, 11:19 AM My couch is a wreck and I am thinking about replacing it with a Love Sac , well, a Super Sac to be specific. I've also found a company online, Comfy Sacks , that claims to be the superior Sac . Does anyone have any first hand knowledge of these products? I'm a fairly straightforward person. I more or less "tell it like it is", and if I have something to say, rarely does it pass through any sort of mental filter. Sometimes I'm hearing what I have to say for the first time just like everyone else. I also have little patience for manufactured drama or over-emotional nonsense.

Cuddle Cups or Cuddle Sacks?
I'm going to make my piggies some cozies but what type should I make: cuddle cups or sacks?? Are there really any cons of either one? What do your piggies prefer? Does anyone have simple intructions on how to make either cozy? Sorry for all the questions and thanks everyone for your opinions!
