Hello:
Well, my wife's '95 SHO is really dying and we've been driving just about everything on 4 wheels over the last year and the only thing that she feels approaches the SHO's ride and power (without spending >$30,000 on a Lexus GS) is a 2005 LS Sport (3.9L). I've been reading this forum and have all the TSBs and the one recall, which I'll look into as being applicable to this vehicle. So, I have a few questions:

Thinking about getting a daily-driver for about £2k

hey all,
I'm thinking picking up a bit of a runabout, just for toing and froing from work and general duties. Although I'm on a bit of a budget, don't want to spend more than £2k.
My requirements are:
1. It must be reliable.
2. Mechanically sound.
3. Decent condition (obviously as good as possible).
4. Economical to run.
5. Relatively easy to maintain by a DIYer (I'm no mechanic, but I'm not a retard either, so can learn from haynes/internet forums etc).
6. Daily commute is 60 miles 'round trip,...

Hey i just bought 2008 335i sedan (e90 i think)... I have a couple questions for you guys because you all seem to know muck more than i do about the car!
1 - the car doesnt have a stupid alarm??? i got sport package, premium package and winter package and the car diesnt have an alarm...shouldnt come with one of the packages?? dealer costs 300 + about 200 labor to install it ...any one know anywhere to get it for cheaper??
2 - i want to put snow tires on it because the winters up here get nasty a...

So what does everyone think? The main reason for doing it was to improve the security as we were starting to get automated registrations posting adverts for viagra and the like, but the new version also opens the doors for lots of other functionality over time. There's lots of other little improvements to do with subscribing to topics, uploading your own images etc but you'll no doubt find them over time!

First of all Hi to all the members, i've to say this forum looks awesome and have tons of good info and also non biased opinions..
I've read tons and tons about +12V rails and ur opinion is absolutely non biased and i couldn't see a single vs multiple FIGHTS as on other forums.
Any way i am building a New Rig for use with my CAD and SAP softwares and of Course for gaming. And this will be my first ever Overclocked Rig.
Anyway i've figured all the components i need yet the PSU is a pain in the A*...

I changed the pipes on my 06 650i. Replaced main resonator with Xpipe and magnaflows. Added 18HP, sounds very nice. Added nice off the line response and power. Also 1.3 mpg more!
The car is fast, but I need more.
This car is heavy and it needs some muscle. I cannot afford an M6, so looking to finish the upgrades. The engine breathes much better...so thinking about
an air intake claiming 12hp gain.

Well, I think my hunt for the perfect wheel is over. I wanted to do a black wheel, but after seeing "BLEEKS" MBM with the AZA Z-1, I quickly changed my mind! http://www.ls1gto.com/forums/showthread.php?t=310142 I did some research on these wheels and found nothing but "horror" stories about buying from Wheelmax (they are the only seller of this wheel) and of issues with "peeling". So, here is the wheel I am going to put on my MBM
Searched and couldnt find another Goat with these. Opinions?

Hey guys, brand new here. I've been looking around for a new car, and I want something with pretty good power and "get up and go" ability. The Crossfire is pretty much everything I want, and definately want to have the srt6 version for the turbo.
I've read about every review, and haven't really seen too many bad ones, only bad ones complain about things like looks, which I personally like. Seen different opinions on how rough the ride is, but I can live with it.
