Wathcing the AHL playoffs, I cannot believe the level that Schneider is playing at. He has been fantastic all season long. His short stint with the team this year he looked shaky but that can easily be attributed lack of experinece and confidence. He should be ready come next year for a few more games in the NHL maybe even as a potential replacement for Luongo. There is very little doubt in my mind that Luongo will sign for less than 7m. Offseason '09: RFA, UFA, & Trade talk

What do you guys think about having an all encompassing thread for these topics? It could be a good place for all of those "X is close to resigning" "Blues are interested in X" type of posts and small discussions that spring out from them. Also it would be good for the "If we're going to trade A who would be better X, Y, Z?"
I'll kick it off.
On Strick's Rink Rat segment on 6/18 he said that talks with Polak are still in it's infancy. This makes me curious if Polak is going to be trade bait this...

So I'm bored at work, and I got to thinking about what would happen if our team was riddled with injuries during a specific game, and we were forced to put different players in to positions they weren't originally drafted for.
This is more of a fun topic for dicussion than serious, but combined with all the unrealistic movie scenarios out there where a guy comes in and saves the day by playing a totally unfamiliar position (Look at the Waterboy or the Replacements for example), just figured I'd...

Well its nearly the end of the rugby season for me (3 more games to play, Sat-Wed-Sat) so its time to start thinking about an offseason conditioning program.
Initial Measurements
Height: 6ft
Weight: 17st 6lbs
Chest-Waist-Hips: 44 - 38.5 - 42.5 (inches)
I'm not sure entirely where I should be trying to get these down to, but I have been down near 16st and 36 inch waist before. I'm sure you can guess from the numbers that I'm a forward.
