Thinking about selling the coupe - Need some advice

My wife and I are having a house being built that should be completed in late Aug. She drives an '05 pathfinder and I DD the coupe. I'd really like to have a pickup truck, but not sure which way to go.
I recently created the following post on SVT forums:

We have been talking about getting a second dog for a long time and decided we wouldn't proceed at least until we'd moved - which we have.
The plan was to get a smallish dog, most likely a Norfolk Terrier. We found a breeder we really liked and are on her waiting list for her next litter. It would probably be about a year or so and we're fine with that.

Is it a good buy for a fat bloke to get to work on? I've had enough old crap as a boy to want something decent. I was looking at hybrids but the route I'll be taking is half road, half tow-path/muddy track/potholes so maybe an MTB would be better.

Table Mountain > Cornell Mountain Bushwhack (Catskills)

What is the Bushwhack like between Table Mountain and Cornell Mountain in the Slide Mountain Wilderness in the Catskills? (The route following the ridge that includes Lone Mountain, Rocky Mountain, Balsam Cap, and Friday Mountain)
Is there a Herd Path along this ridge? Are there any cliffs that I would need to avoid? Is there a preferred direction to hike this ridge? Would it be better to just primitive camp along herd path up the Neversink River and hike each mountain individually?

Opinions: Rocky Mountain cyclo cross solo cx

Can this cyclocross be commuterized? Anyone have one - is there room for very wide tires for winter and fenders? (Surly puts right on their web site that they accept up to 700c x 45 - is this unique or is it good marketing? )

Hey guys,
I was just thinking about the past and how many people have criticized me or made dumb remarks when i say im going "riding" they say ohh you got a bike? I say yea a mountain bike and for some reason people just sh*t on me for it. Has this ever happened to anyone else. Also let me know why it is you ride a mountain bike versus anything else.
For me its just the feeling i get when im out in the woods especially by myself and nothing can bother me. Im in the moment and nothing else really...
