Phil Spector guilty of 2nd degree murder!
(13 Apr 2009)
Another slimeball down! He was remanded after the verdict and he's going to jail and prison at long last! Remember his first trial ended in a hung jury.
Here is a great live blog from "Sprocket" that was going on during the trial, the verdict watch, and in the courtroom, and reporting on the press conference afterwards: Trials and Tribulations.

NEWS AND RUMOURS: Games Day France - Lone Pilgrim
(26 Apr 2009)
This is an RSS feed post from Lone Pilgrim
Games Day France was held over the weekend and with it came confirmation of a lot of Planetstrike rumours. This is a 40k expansion book, much like Cities of Death, which changes the fundamental way of playing the game by monkeying about with missions, terrain and force organisation charts.
The book itself was available to leaf through and GeekyLouis on Warseer posted photos of some of the pages here . The Ironclad Dreadnought is in there, as well as lot...

Draft Prospect Comparisons
(22 Apr 2009)
As Per draftcountdown.com
The following are rough player comparisons for some of the top 2009 NFL Draft prospects. Obviously this is a very subjective matter and there are no guarantees that these guys will be as good, better or worse than the players I compare them too. In other words there is nothing too scientific about this at all, just something fun to read and think about.
Quarterbacks
Matthew Stafford - Jay Cutler
Mark Sanchez - Matt Ryan
Josh Freeman - Ben Roethlisberger
Rhett Bomar - To...

AFC Whispers
— One of the more curious developments at the Browns’ voluntary minicamps is Rex Hadnot and Floyd Womack working at left guard, the position Eric Steinbach has played the past two seasons. Both Hadnot and Womack are bigger than Steinbach, leading to speculation that head coach Eric Mangini might be looking for more size inside. Mangini has not explicitly confirmed that, although he did say, “I don’t think a coup...
