Aftershave suggestion?

I'm ordering some blades (Personnas Red) from west coast shaving and I was thinking about adding an aftershave to the order. I currently just use Nivea. I have tried a sample of trumpers skinfood which I like. Not sure if I should go with a splash or balm. I enjoy nivea but I may be in the market for something else if it is good. My four creams and soaps in rotation currently are Proraso cream, Trumpers Violet cream, TOBS Avocado cream, and Tabac Soap.

Gentlemen,
I have come across several aftershaves that intrigue me:
La Toja
Brummel
Veleiro
I believe they are all Spanish. I like the Spanish Floid, but know nothing about these. I would love to read some opinions on them before spending the money. Anyone?

Old School Japanese aftershaves...

I am considering doing up some sample kits of some of the wonderful (very) old school aftershaves still being sold here in Japan. In the land where there's a Tosuke straight-razor wielding barber on every corner and the highest per capita population of elderly in the world you can bet there's some good old school juice to be had....ohhh the burn! Before I go crazy hitting up the local drug stores I wanted to ask two questions:

I'm thinking about giving the Tabac scent another go. Does anyone know where they sell the aftershave balm or "soft aftershave"? All I can ever find is the regular AS. Thanks.

Hey everyone. Like a lot of people on here, I have all sorts of shaving utilities acquisition disorder; but it is so worth it. I'm trying to figure out what I should get as my next purchase.
1. TOBS Rose. I recently bought TOBS Avocado and love it. In my shaving den I have Tabac, Proraso White soap, Proraso Green Tube, and Mama Bear Mandarin Ice.

Royall--worth having?

I just got a $25 gift certificate from Whole Foods and I was thinking about using it to pick up a bottle of one of the Royalls. I don't really need any aftershave to compete with the assorted Pinaud, AV, Proraso, etc that I have already, but I thought that it might be fun to have a bottle. Any recommendations? If they aren't that great, I can always get a bottle of wine, a bag of spelt or a magic candle.

I'm heading out for a week in San Francisco tomorrow. I intend to bring the following kit:
37C slant
T&H preshave oil
Dovo Pure Badger brush
Alum
Either Proraso ASB or DR Harris Aftershave Milk
Derby Extra and Wilkinson blades (I have plans on buying some blades in a local CVS)
I have loads and loads of soaps from Mama Bear and Saint Charles waiting for me at the hotel, so I'll not bring any of those.

Mr.Taylor: cologne or aftershave?

Hello guys,
A few days ago I took a sniff of Tabac EDT and after a while a second one, this time Tabac AS and I noticed differences that are beyond subtle, in my opinion.
I had sometime ago a bottle of Mr. Taylor AS and I liked it very much. I wonder if Mr.Taylor cologne is even better?
What do you think?
