We live in a 3200 square foot 2 level home. We have 3 units. For the past several years, we've used a window unit to help cool down the larger bedroom while allowing the AC unit to cool the other 2 bedrooms. I'm so tired of the noise of the window unit and the inconvenience of getting DH to install and remove it each season. Plus it can't be that energy effecient.

Ok i've been reading and researching on helmets here lately. And have read some stuff on after a helmet reaches to be 5 years old or older, something about it's not as safe and it starts breaking down or something? Didn't know how true this is, but all of my helmets have reached that 5 or more year mark except one and it will be 5 years old by the end of this year. I can't do anything about this now since a) I don't have an Xcal2 and b) I don't have the spare cash handy, but I'm going to ask for some opinions now so I have time to think about things.
I'm going to be doing the PI intake swap and mild J-mod sometime in the next month or two and with that, I think I should get a tune to better take advantage of things. Thinking about getting the S60 Rear

I have been buying parts that add power to my car, and this whole time I know I should upgrade the rear because it is the weakest link in the car. I have been looking into the Moser 12 bolt and ford 9 inch but I think I like the S-60 the best. It seems like it has the best durability for peace of mind and at the same price with less loss. Thinking about getting FIOS

I live in northern NJ and have had Cablevision for my TV and internet for years. I've had no problems with them and the service is good if there's ever a problem. The only problem I have is that it's expensive. If I switch to Verizon FIOS, I can save $60 per month.
Can I get some opinions from the people who have FIOS? Is the internet as fast as Cable? Is the TV picture clearer? Is it worth it to change or am I just opening up a can of worms?
My neighborhood's all wired for FIOS, did anyone have...

Thinking about selling the coupe - Need some advice

My wife and I are having a house being built that should be completed in late Aug. She drives an '05 pathfinder and I DD the coupe. I'd really like to have a pickup truck, but not sure which way to go.

So I've heard from a couple of trusted buddies that this software is very much worth the price...but I really don't have that much money to spend unless it's kind of a "sure thing" so I'd love to hear some reviews!

Hi all! New here. I just finished a DIY active crossover (sorry for the cross-forum link, but that's where I've been hanging out), and have on the way some Klipsch Heresys (1981) that I plan to drive with active crossover + tube (presumably SET) amp, as the initial experiment in this sort of thing.
