When does annoyance, irritation, anger, turn into hatred?
(11 May 2009)
Sorry for another long winded post.
A few days ago, some friends and I had a conversation during dinner. We eventually began making making jokes at each other and I could not help but get irritated by an unflattering nickname a friend had given me. I flicked some sesame seeds into his soda in retaliation. Immediately afterwards I felt remorse for my childish act and quickly apologized.
Believe it or not, I started to think about the concept of hatred and mortal sin shortly afterwards. Now I pret...

Another newbie thinking about straights
(19 Jun 2009)
I have a few issues that I don't want to disclose that would most likely prevent me from being able to hone a straight razor. These same issues may prevent me from stropping as well, and might even prevent me from even shaving with it, so right now I'm just trying to get as much information as I can. Is it possible to have a straight honed by a honemaster on a regular basis and how often would that be? I do understand that it depends on a lot of factors but I'm just trying to get a rough idea. I...

I am reading so much conflicting information regarding using a moisturizer on the top of retin a on many boards.
I have a very dry skin so I use vaseline over retin a after waiting for good 1 hour or as late as possible.. I dont experience any irritation if I dont use the moisturizer just dryness. I use moisturizer as i am afraid that dryness might encourage fine lines.
Is it ok to do this or I am cancelling the antiaging benefuits of retin a?
I will really appreciate if you share your experienc...

Hey guys, Any DE users?? I'd like some opinions...

Although I have no real issues for my head shaving and am Happy with where I'm currently at with that and enjoy it, Face shaving is still a chore for me. For a guy who's only 21, I have a fairly heavy beard and fair/sensitive skin. Currently I use a sensor 3 and have used the fusion and mach 3 as well. Frankly Its difficult to shave with these(redness, irritation bumps(going against the grain). I can only shave with the grain normally and on occasion I can shave once going across the grain.
I've...

Could this be?
(29 Apr 2009)
Protected sex about 11 days ago with a prostitute from online.
Today, small irritation on left side of penis low on shaft. No bumps I can see just red. No itching maybe unless I am thinking about it. I have some irritation there since before the sex from jock itch.
I keep looking and looking at it. Could it be a herpes outbreak? I am scared because it says most times there are no symptoms or mild. Is there a chace this is it? Or would it have blisters usually?

I just think that some of the boards are much slower than other, and less responsive, like people just go there to ask questions but there aren't really "board residents" like we have here...anyways that's just my opinion.

An NFL Myth is an oft repeated fact (by analysts or coaches or ill informed fans etc.) that is simply not true.
As the smartest group of fans on the net, it is our duty to make sure these are corrected.
A couple of t...

most irritating item
(25 Jun 2009)
we've all been there...we set up a match filled with items, lots and lots of items.
smash balls, hammers, pokeballs, and--oh, but wait...there's always that one item
you DON'T want on, the one item that you despise oh so very much.
most of the items are hard for me to stand, but the bob-omb is just a total evil in the item list,
because if one appears, it seems inevitable it will come alive and walk right into me without me even knowing about it
so give your opinions on what brawl item irritates...

Would this irritate you?
(08 May 2009)
I'm wondering if the "it was all a dream" ending is really irritating to readers. I haven't read too many stories of this type, and so I don't really have an opinion myself. The situation is that I'm writing a three-book series, and if I do the ending this way, then the reader wouldn't find out that it was all a dream until the end of the third book. If I don't do it this way, then the reader has to contend with the idea that the protagonist is a murderer. I've written two different endings, one...
