hi guys my boyfriend turns 21 in august this year, and for about a year, i've been planning on getting him a psp and a bunch of games as the main part of his present. now, i don't exactly know a lot about video games. i mean, i have a wii and a ds, but i'm a very casual "gamer", so to speak. so let me just explain the situation, and get your opinions. the house we are currently living in has a ps3 which belongs to our housemate. we are in the process of looking for a new home, and will hence be...

3. Thinking about getting FIOS   (18 May 2009)
I live in northern NJ and have had Cablevision for my TV and internet for years. I've had no problems with them and the service is good if there's ever a problem. The only problem I have is that it's expensive. If I switch to Verizon FIOS, I can save $60 per month. Can I get some opinions from the people who have FIOS? Is the internet as fast as Cable? Is the TV picture clearer? Is it worth it to change or am I just opening up a can of worms? My neighborhood's all wired for FIOS, did anyone have...

7. Thinking about buying Apple TV   (22 Apr 2009)
Hello! I'm seriously thinking about buying an Apple TV and run XBMC on it. But I have a couple of questions before I make the final decision. 1) Can Apple TV run XBMC automatically on bootup? 2) Is it possible to integrate XBMC fully with Apple TV, as if it were the operating system of the unit? (So that I won't even notice the Apple TV UI?) 3) Is it practical/comfortable to use the Apple remote with XBMC? Do I have other options, e.g. can I use the Xbox DVD remote instead? Any help would be gre...

8. Thinking about buying a "max"   (27 May 2009)
I have been having this nagging desire to get a max ever since my new 50" TV arrived at Xmas time. I have been trying to hold off for the past 5 months, but am slowly gravitating toward HD. I presently use a Kbox, which is an awesome box, have had viewsat pro, extreme, both of which were very good boxes. I do like to experiment with different boxes, and would love to get some HD into my new TV. What I need to know is how happy are you guys with your Max receivers? HD working great? (at least the...

10. Thinking about buying a flat screen tv.   (25 Apr 2009)
Lcd, plasma etc. I'm thinking lcd is the way to go. I'm not to bothered about the whole HD ready debate, I just want a space saving tv that works. My own tv is old enough and I want to replace it with money that I have before the recession really hits. I want a 32" flat screen tv and my main motivation is price. Any reccommendations?
