Worst possible scenario for Bills Fans- Long Read
(15 Apr 2009)
I wrote the following in very exaggerated fashion to prove a point. Looking at the schedule, it looks very very difficult, so I thought I would be as pessimistic as possible and throw this thing together. Obviously not what I think will happen in the fashion I described it, so don't go critiqueing the individual games, but please give your opinions on what your version of the worst possible scenario would be.

The Best 8 NBA Teams of the Last 20 Years Not to Win it All
by Scott Howard
Editors Note: This topic was spurred by a recent conversation with my boss (yes thats right, the blog does not pay the bills
if youre curious I am a competitive mime artist) concerning closed windows of opportunity in the NBA.
A few qualifiers and ground rules before I kick-off:
* Obviously has to be within the last 20 years. So w...

End Of Year Thoughts
(15 Jun 2009)
I'm still riding the high from last night's game, or maybe it was last nights celebration. Regardless, this year was a roller coaster ride for the Lakers and their fans. With a decisive 4-1 victory over the Magic though, the disappointments of the Houston series are long forgotten. I don't visit the forums much during the off-season, but wanted to give a few year end thoughts and praises to our guys and didn't see a good place to place this into another thread so you get an all new one.

A View From the Rafters #90: Wrestling Myth Busting Volume II
(07 May 2009)
"Now you'll never see / What you've done to me / You can take back your memories / They're no good to me / And here's all your lies / You can't look me in the eyes / With the sad, sad look / That you wear so well / When you see my face / Hope it gives you hell / Hope it gives you hell / When you walk my way / Hope it gives you hell / Hope it gives you hell / When you find a man that's worth a damn and treats you well / Then he's a fool you're just as well / Hope it gives you hell..."

Hawks Horrors - Blog - Brisbane Lions United
(17 Jun 2009)
Quote: : Age columnist Jake Niall says Hawthorn is a member of the AFL's 'battling middle class' , and there is not much chance they will make the top four. The Hawks had won five of seven before Sunday's capitulation to the Lions, but they have struggled against the better teams. Injuries bit hard for much of the first half of the year, but they lack only a handful of stars now. Can the Hawks launch a premiership assault in the second half of the year? Are they still a realistic premiership cha...

Night Rising: Ten Years On From A Horrific Tragedy
(25 May 2009)
Noc, you're a beast at graphics.
Hello one and all to the newest edition of Night Rising. Ol' Nighty scored a major coup yesterday when he bought Bret Hart's book for £10 in ASDA. All I'll say without spoiling anything is that it is possibly the best wrestling book I've ever read. Bret comes off a little harsh on himself at times but overall, it seems he's managed to move on with his life after wrestling, which many people are glad to know. The only books I can think off the top of my head to ch...

Last Pre- Lotto Mock--Entire Draft--Updated 5/18
(23 Apr 2009)
First Round:
1. Sacramento: Blake Griffin
Blake is the consensus number one, but I can see the Kings trading down to get Rubio and shed some salary (maybe Beno Udrih), or add a player like JaVale McGee.
2. Washington: Ricky Rubio
The only 'sure-fire' star left in the draft. He and Gilbert would have trouble co-existing in the back court (IMO). I can see them trading up to the number one in order to get an inside presence.
3. LA Clippers: Jordan Hill
The Clippers are thin at both power forward, a...

Jim Cornette Blog: The 'Write' Stuff (Good Read)
(26 Apr 2009)
Jim Cornette has launched is very own website, and has started off writing his own blog. He writes how Stupid the booking is for today's wrestling, and how the fans now know more than the People who are on the creative teams. Long read, but very well worth it.
THE "WRITE" STUFF
Posted April 24, 2009
I can't count the number of times over the last 10 years that someone, usually not connected to professional wrestling in any way except as a fan, has asked me, "How do I get a job as a writer?" or g...
