2. What Do Some Japanese Gamers Think About Online Gaming/Distribution?   (14 Apr 2009)
Japanese magazine Famitsu has polled a pool of 798 about their thoughts on what's going on with the game industry. The most interesting data was with online gaming. While 90 percent of those polled have used some sort of home console or portable console, only 24 percent of those have actually paid to use said service — meaning, we assume, they're not using paid services like Xbox LIVE. What's more, 58.5 percent use those networks for wireless ad hoc play (think Monster Hunter on the PSP). A larg...

3. First birthday party, very hot weather (USA)... paddle pool or no paddle ...   (11 Jun 2009)
Just scouring for opinions on whether or not to put out Jack's paddle pools for his birthday party on 23rd June... the weather here will be anything between 70 and 90F.    I would of course pre-warn parents so they can bring appropriate clothing and towels etc. We have A/C indoors so it's not like the kids will have to be outside getting overheated, but I like the idea of paddling being available for those who feel like getting splashy!  BUT now I'm wondering, is it responsible?  There will be m...

4. Jack Carter Pool question   (22 Jun 2009)
I am thinking about taking Elijah to Jack Carter Pool on Thursday morning while Nathan is at VBS. My question...we will only be playing in the playground area since he has to be held or kept pretty close in the pool, and I can't keep up with him right now while pregnant. I will probably get in the kiddie pool to keep up with him, but I won't be "swimming," per se. Will I need to pay the $3 to "swim?" I don't know what they considered swimming so I just wondered.

5. Sawdust in pool   (25 Jun 2009)
I want some opinions on this situation. We did a removal today and everything goes good until the caretaker of the property calls me about an hour ago and says "Well, you got sawdust in the pool. Filters are stopped up and I am calling a pool guy out and looks like you get paid nothing." I told the caretaker some sawdust might get in the pool to which he had no reply. Now he says the pool had an electric cover and we should have used it. The owner is Don Nelson. He used to be coach of the Dallas...

6. JoeyA & Joe Tucker pool commentary   (24 Apr 2009)
Joe and I did some pool commentary together at the Super Billiards Expo. If you are interested in seeing and hearing the match you can go to: http://www.spheragon.com/uncategorized/hello-world/ It is a match between Shawn Putnam and John Schmidt. I think it's about two hours long. Feel free to leave a comment after viewing it. Hope you enjoy it. JoeyA

7. "3-0" has pretty much the same cards available to the card pool as a Konami...   (12 Jun 2009)
It's just that the cards are distributed differently. Seriously, count up the number of cards removed from the card pool (3 for Forbidden, 2 for Limited, and 1 for Semi-Limited) in both a serious "3-0" list and Konami's list, and the numbers are surprisingly close. Just something to think about, I guess.

8. David Poole passes away   (28 Apr 2009)
From Jayski: This is not only sad from a human perspective, but also sad for NASCAR fans. David Poole was, in my opinion, the best NASCAR writer out there. He did not kiss NASCAR's coat tails, nor was he always banging the negative gong like so many others do. He was always straight up. I will miss his writing and opinions. 9. Add Hot Tub or Pool inside house   (20 Jun 2009)
Why can't we even think about adding a Hot tub or a swimming pool to the patio in the house?

10. Stunt bar, aka "Sprint pool bar"   (30 Jun 2009)
This suggestion is already seen around long time ago, but i want to take it and evolve it with some more stuff. That based on the idea to have a separate "sprint pool bar", something that drain fast sprinting, and replenish at an avarage rate. In addition to this, sprinting would still drain stamina at the current rate. This would easyer limit the sprint in close combats (to limit "keep sprinting turning around the target and swing" tactics) without the need to rework the entire stamina system,...
