1. Food, Inc.   (28 Jun 2009)
This doc is pretty good but not as poignant as what Raj Patel examines with the influence of global capitalism on industrialized food. Sorta removed of an anti-capitalist critique and issues outside of the US but what it reveals about the US agribusiness model is very important. Food, Inc. trailer: "We we run an item past the supermarket scanner, we're voting for local, organic, or non-organic." 'Food, Inc.' chews up Monsanto, agribusiness cousins The movie "Food, Inc." begins in the aisles of a...

4. AoE nerf inc   (14 May 2009)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TipPj7kPhUA About halfway through, think its a pretty clear nerf bat heading towards AoE specced sorcs. Also the parts about 1v1 is squarely aimed at Disastrous Cascade Im definitely getting as much out of this while i still can He has a point, using DC 1v1 shouldn't really be viable. I just hope they dont go overboard and make AoE spells only useful when you have 9 targets to hit Opinions? am i reading this wrong?

5. "Scooby-Doo - Mystery, Inc." News & Speculation Thread   (05 May 2009)
Yes, the latest Scooby-Doo series is on it's way. It's the first one where neither William Hanna or Joe Barbera is involved. The gang is back together and hopefully this series will be better than Shaggy & Scooby-Doo Get A Clue. Here is the synopsis: "A sleepy little village, Crystal Cove, boasts a long history of ghost sightings, poltergeists, demon possession, phantoms and other paranormal occurrences. The renowned sleuthing team of Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy and Scooby-Doo arrive to prove al...

6. Share & Tell Binders by Pebbles, Inc   (20 Jun 2009)
Has anyone here used the Share & Tell albums by Pebbles, Inc? It seems like a great system--a three ring binder with some 12x12 pages and some pages with 6-4x6 pockets. Maybe a good way for me to catch up on my scrapbooking while still having pretty layouts, but intermingling some of the pages using the page protectors that have the six pockets. I have always used post-bound albums, but am thinking about going to SU!'s 3-ring albums. Then I saw these Share & Tell albums and decided to ask about...

Just letting all you new people who's thinking about joining into direct TV . this company show they have customer skills but they put on a pretty face until you see your next bill not being what it's suppose to be, and when you call they purposely direct your calls out of state so they don't have to deal with you locally. everything they say and do even though they document it down will eventually change with another excuse. I've been with this company for 1 year and 4 months and can't wait unt...

9. Off Topic: Food, Inc   (13 Jun 2009)
I had been meaning to write up a review for Food, Inc. ever since I got to watch it last week. Unfortunately, I've been pretty busy with work and haven't had much of a chance to write. It's still hard for me to find much time, so I'll keep this review relatively short. For the really short version, read this next line: Food, Inc. is in imperfect documentary, but does an excellent job portraying the picture of how Americans get their food that the film sets out to portray. With Michael Pollan as...

10. Food Inc: Michael Pollan and Friends Reveal the Food Industry's Darkest Secrets...   (01 Jul 2009)
http://www.alternet.org/media/140890/food_...arkest_secrets/ Quote: Food Inc: Michael Pollan and Friends Reveal the Food Industry's Darkest Secrets By Tara Lohan, AlterNet. Posted June 25, 2009. The new film Food Inc. is a shocking look at the health, human rights and the environmental nightmare that lands on our plate each meal. It turns out that figuring out the most simple thing -- like what's on your dinner plate, and where it came from -- is actually a pretty subversive act. That's what dir...
