thinking about devoting a tank to central americans
(25 Apr 2009)
I've been thinking about keeping central americans for a whille but I'm not sure where to start. I have a 6 foot 125 gallon that I could devote to them. I really like some of the large red devils and other large fish but will I end up with two fish and an egg crate divider or would a community tank with several breeding pairs of different species be possible? I haven't decided if I'm going to do it or not but any help would be greatly apprecieated.
thanks

What do you think about buying Americans cars that are made in China?
(12 Jun 2009)

GM China is already half-owned by China anyway: http://www.gm.com/corporate/about/global_operations/asia_pacific/chin.jsp
Why not have GM move its headquarters from Detroit to Beijing or Shanghai? Easier that way.

Changing the direction for African Americans
(18 Jun 2009)
I've been doing some research and it is to know surprise that black communities are failing. I wanted to get opinions on how if at all possible for African Americans to turn the tide and revive the beauty of our culture. I person thinks the first thing we need to do is give our current black leaders the boot(the Jessie Jackson and Al Sharptons) and getting back to some of those core values that help black people in the past like unity and hard work.

A question for Americans
(03 Jul 2009)
First of all, I want to say that i'm sure this thread will get unnoticed and disappear quickly. Anyway, do you like McKinley? do you know about a forgotten big war that your country belittled to the extent that it was considered just an "Insurrection" Only recently has it been renamed to "Philippine-American War" Now I am not an anti-America. I acutally like US. I went there two times already and plan to go back for more. I just want to ask you. Was Philippine-American War taught to you in your...

More Americans Pro-Life Than Pro-Choice
(15 May 2009)
http://www.gallup.com/poll/118399/Mo...irst-Time.aspx
Quote: : Bottom Line:
With the first pro-choice president in eight years already making changes to the nation's policies on funding abortion overseas, expressing his support for the Freedom of Choice Act, and moving toward rescinding federal job protections for medical workers who refuse to participate in abortion procedures, Americans -- and, in particular, Republicans -- seem to be taking a step back from the pro-choice position. However, t...

Young Americans losing their religion at a rapid pace
(06 May 2009)
05-06-2009, 10:55 AM I found this very interesting, though not terribly surprising.
Quote: : New research shows young Americans are dramatically less likely to go to church -- or to participate in any form of organized religion -- than their parents and grandparents.
"It's a huge change," says Harvard University professor Robert Putnam, who conducted the research.
Historically, the percentage of Americans who said they had no religious affiliation (pollsters refer to this group as the "nones") h...

Americans Sentenced to Labor in N. Korea
(10 Jun 2009)
So what does everyone think about the two Americans who have been sentenced to twelve years of hard labor in North Korea for supposedly "illegally crossing the border"? The two Americans claim that they were near the border, but hadn't crossed it. If you ask me, the North Koreans are just doing this because they hate America. They have some nerve messing with us, but I'm sure that some spec ops or someone will break them outa' there eventually. We would never leave our own citizens behind.

Americans Should Be Unifying Instead Of Criticizing
(17 Jun 2009)
We are financially engaged up to our noses with funding to Iraq and Afghanistan. How would we support a war with North Korea? With the stand that President Obama took yesterday against North Korea, which is backed by the U.N. Security Council, it appears that confrontation is imminent. This stand includes authorizing North Korean ship searches in an effort to halt nuclear and ballistic missile cargo and blocking aid and financing to the country. This would break the cycle that has so far charact...

"Young Americans Losing Their Religion"
I'm fairly sure that the general association between Jesus Christ and right wing policies is a major factor behind this trend...
(as well as lack, or silence of apologetically competent and politically moderate Christians).
