1. Parker Guitars   (16 May 2009)
Generally I buy all of my guitar related equipment at Guitar Center (and sometimes Sam Ash) because there are not many locals dealers near me that sell anything worth buying. However, after taking a wrong exit on the way to Guitar Center yesterday, I stumbled upon a small guitar shop that I hadn't heard of, and I decided to stop. While there, I played a guitar that I was pretty amazing, considering I had never really seen or heard of it. It was the Parker P44, and it was being sold for about $70...

2. Replace Parker Bulb   (14 May 2009)
Hi all, I have had one of my parker bulbs fail on me, and tried to remove it .. I cannot for the life of me with all the poking, prodding, twisting, pulling and anything else you can think about get them out. How do you remove the parker bulbs?!

3. Names that sound good with Parker (Ds #1's name)   (15 Jun 2009)
Hi All! Just wondering if anyone has ideas for boy and girl names that sound good w/ ds's name. Not matchy matchy or anything. Dh and I NEVER had a girls name. Now we don't have either. Thanks for the help! OOOPS! Parker is my ds's name. I would like our kid's names to sound nice together. I am sorry. I wasn't even thinking about the last name Parker.

4. Help Needed Timing a Parker Bow!   (28 May 2009)
I just put a new cable & string from Joe @ ProLine on my Parker Extreme UltraLite 31 and now I need to make sure everything is set. Can someone help me with how to make sure the timing, tiller and tune is set properly? I have looked online, but there seem to be too many opinions as to if a single cam bow can be out of tune. My cam does not have any timing marks on it and I have never timed one before. Any detailed instructions for setting the timing?? Nothing in my owner's manual. Hoping we have...

5. Parker a cheap shot merchant ?   (30 Jun 2009)
Watched the game on the weekend, and was disappointed to see Corey Parker flop onto, and forearm jolt the back of a tryscorers head when there was no reason whatsoever he should have been anywhere near the player. I think it was about the 48th minute. It looked very ordinary, and I hope this isnt gonna be part of his game in future. Ref could have easily given an 8-point try verdict.

6. Kathleen Parker: Torture question defines us as Americans   (25 Apr 2009)
Posted: 04/24/2009 05:48:35 PM PDT ... "I'm trying to figure out if I have an ethical conflict," I began. "If you have to ask, you do," he said ... Apply the same construct to torture. If we have to ask, it probably is. Yet, as we've learned with the recent release of Justice Department memos related to interrogation techniques, Bush administration lawyers tortured the English language trying to justify the unjustifiable ... http://www.sgvtribune.com/opinions/ci_12221858 I'm always reluctant to...

7. ESPN: Who Can Guard Tony Parker?   (01 Jul 2009)
The hand-checking rules have been changed since 2001, but it has taken a few years for the rules to evolve into a different loooking game. As of 2009, it's officially clear that super-fast guards can do serious damage in NBA defenses. Tony Parker, Chris Paul, Aaron Brooks ... the quick guys who can get into the lane at will have become little one-man wrecking crews at times. The old way to guard them was to bump them off course with an arm or a body. The new way ... not sure there is a new way y...

8. Robert Parker's reviewers comp'd?   (02 Jun 2009)
The Wall Street Journal has an article today about how Mr Parker's scrupulous personal standards aren't always observed by some of his reviewers. The information was first reported on the website Dr Vino, and expanded by the WSJ to include other paid trips. Ironically, Dr Vino accepts wine related advertising, while Wine Advocate does not. Something has to pay the bills. It's a classic problem, and even Steve Shaw has recognized that many websites and consultants and NY Times freelancers can't a...

9. Shane Parker   (30 May 2009)
I saw Shane Parker on the bus the other day on my/his way to work. I am lead to believe that Parks works at Bankwest in the city. Now all this is unremarkable, but it got me thinking about the remuneration that footballers get and whether it's enough to "set them up for life". Parks was obviously never your flashy, high flying, magical player (in fact, he was quite the opposite) but he still played over 200 games over 10 years or so. Now I reckon Parks is a smart bloke - not the type to p!ss all...

10. Star Parker smart lady   (12 Jun 2009)
Back on Uncle Sam's plantation Star Parker - Syndicated Columnist Six years ago I wrote a book called Uncle Sam's Plantation. I wrote the book to tell my own story of what I saw living inside the welfare state and my own transformation out of it. I said in that book that indeed there are two Americas -- a poor America on socialism and a wealthy America on capitalism. I talked about government programs like Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), Job Opportunities and Basic Skills Trainin...
