Ok i've been reading and researching on helmets here lately. And have read some stuff on after a helmet reaches to be 5 years old or older, something about it's not as safe and it starts breaking down or something? Didn't know how true this is, but all of my helmets have reached that 5 or more year mark except one and it will be 5 years old by the end of this year. Ok, so I need some opinions. Here's the deal:
I have owned a 3 since about a year they came out. I own about 25 games, most of which have decreased value and have been treated rather poorly. I have been considering buying a PS3 and selling my 3 . I'm on my fourth Xbox (thank god I got a warranty from EBGames). I'm new to the board - have been an Indy Car fan since I was a kid.
I have my own opinions about CART/IRL. This topic is not about any of that, so please don't go there.
This is a thought about the Kansas race that popped into my head, especially after re-watching the 2000 and 2001 CART Michigan 500 races.
I remember reading a few comments on here that the passing and lead changes were extremely lacking at Kansas. I agree. It reminded me of what oval racing was in the early to mid 1990's with CA...

I have been thinning my gun collection down because I joined the Navy and don't have a good place to leave them while I go to OCS and subsequent training. I own my home and have a small safe to keep documents, etc that I inherited from my Dad but its a crappy Sentry that he bought at Wal-Mart. I have used it in the past to stick 5-6 handguns in while on vacation but I know I need something a lot better and bigger than that to store my rifles and several handguns.

Wasnt sure if i should post this in the new or mature riders section? as Im both
I've recently returned to riding as an adult - the last time i rode was over 20 years ago. After lots of research (on here) I found a great local riding school where i feel very safe and confident and Im really enjoying my lessons.
I've only had a few so far but Im happy with walk, trot and canter although my control around corners with canter can be pretty bad, but at one lesson a week its going to take a while...

Hi all. It's been nearly 14 years since I've lived in the Seattle area. I'm still in "sticker shock" mode. I'm wondering, what is Tacoma like these days? It used to be pretty "rough". But on Google Maps it doesn't look so bad anymore, and I see some new apartment/condo construction near the historic downtown area. For the Seattle/Tacoma area residents, what do you think of Tacoma? Gun Safes: Any opinions?
I am looking around and found a series of options for gun safes. Electronic vs Combination, safe vs cabinet, heavy vs light.
Any opinions on which is the best to get. So far I like the sentry 14-gun combination safe. I figure 180 lbs is light enough to move into place and with the contents and bolted down it will be too heavy to move.
