OP-ED An Alternative Opinion about Swine Flu: Myths for the Gullible

SWINE FLU MYTHS FOR THE GULLIBLE
by Jon Rappoport
April 30, 2009. Recently, a talk-show producer said to me, But you arent denying people are dying, are you?
This was her response to my statement that the Swine Flu had all the makings of a hoax.
Ive had this response before in other similar situations. So lets start with this:
Obviously, you cant have an outbreak of a new dangerous disease unless people are dying.
But just because people are dying, you cant automatically assume you have a...

Need some help in relieving disk contention - Virtualized Environment in ...
(27 May 2009)
It's been a while since I have posted much in here, but a new issue is forcing me to ask for outside opinions. As part of my job, and in keeping our company on the edge of virtualization technologies as a potential revenue stream, I have built an ESX4 environment in a box. Since it will bear significance to the potential solution, the hardware platform for this rolling demo unit is as follows:

Environmental wackos deceive using new terminology
(02 May 2009)
Most of the public finally has the number of the environmental wackos, so now they are using new terminology for the same old garbage. Old wine in new bottles and all that.

Seeking to Save the Planet, With a Thesaurus

WASHINGTON The problem with global warming, some environmentalists believe, is global warming.
The term turns people off, fostering images of shaggy-haired liberals, economic sacrifice and complex scientific disputes, according to extensiv...

Moral Authority (Environmental Politics)
(04 Jun 2009)
Long Story: I have been thinking about the Cap & Trade thread and thought this was worthy of a debate: do the U.S. (or any developed country) have the moral authority to tell developing countries (or undeveloped countries) to stop sacrificing the environment for greater economic growth? Infamous examples are China, India, or Brazil, and will be discussed below.
China and India's incredible economic growth has incredible pollution following it. Their populations are finally able to afford more an...

Is my drying environment dry enough?
(04 Jun 2009)
I have been turning in a wing of my basement, which is not insulated and lately has had a humidity of 60-80%, which is higher than it was in the winter.
I had a hunch that this space was cool and moist enough to air dry rough-turned bowls without bagging or anchorsealing. After roughing my last few bowlstwo maple and one hickory-- then soaking them in DNA, I brown bagged for a day or two then opened them up and let them dry in the open air.
Well this seemed to work, and weighing them every coup...

Opinion: Disney's Friends For Change: What They Want You To Think
(19 Jun 2009)
OK, for the past month or so, I've seen this advertisement on Disney Channel telling us about this group called "Friends For Change", a group getting a bunch of "friends" to make a difference in the environment (i.e. recycle, waste less power, ride your bike, ect.). Recalling the Disney we know now, we know what they say is a bunch of sh*t. And here's the really sh*tty part; they tell us to get together and raise one million dollars to help the environment. Also recalling what I've heard about t...

To australian people, your opinion on Peter Garrett
(23 May 2009)
I am dissapointed with that dude, he was, back in the midnightoil days , for the environment and nature and against big corporation and all the tralalala. Now, he seems to have turn to the dark side of the force. I am referring to the pulp mills thing, uranium mine(he was antinuclear) and also the Port phillip dredging.
What do you australian people think about him? He is your minister of environment!!
BY the way, if you are not australian , you can still say your opinion

My opinion of Reaper 3...
(24 Jun 2009)
I wanted to give Reaper (3) a fair shot, so I have been using it atleast 10 hours a day, 7 days a week, since it came out (3-4 weeks ago?), AND I have read the complete manual.
Reaper 3 is one of the most unstable DAW's I have ever used, each update gets worse and worse... The looks is cool, and it has some great new features but the environment as a whole is really unstable...
I love Reaper 2.58 and below... I wait with baited breath that each update will fix this stuff...
What do you guys thin...
