MULTIPLE CHOICE POLL - CHOOSE ALL THAT APPLY. "Today is the first day of my hunger strike. I have never undertaken anything remotely like this and so I have little sense of what to expect, and although I have set a goal of three weeks, I really don’t know how long I will be able to continue. I will be drinking lots of water. "I am undertaking this fast in the heartfelt hope that world leaders will call upon the Government of Sudan to urgently readmit all of the expelled agencies or otherwise ins...

Hunger Games-Suzanne Collins Does anyone know if this is a good book? Whenever I go to Barnes and Noble, I always see a big stack of them. I was thinking about buying it but I'd like some opinions on it first if anyone has read it yet. 3nodding

I just don't understand people sometimes. http://www.grist.org/article/2009-07-02-GOP-ice-cream/ Quote: Lunch-hour follies AS GOP politicians take the school-lunch debate to new lows, perk up with berry ice cream Posted 8:40 AM on 2 Jul 2009 by Kurt Michael Friese A few years ago I was asked to serve on the Wellness Committee that was being formed by the Iowa City School District, under a federal mandate to improve the health of school children. Having made lunch every morning for my kid...

4. The Hunger Games - Awsome or more awsome?   (07 Jun 2009)
At school my english teacher read The Hunger Games to my class. I am now obsessed with this book. So, what did you people think about it? Were you satisfied with the conflicting ending and the uncertainty about the relationship between Peeta and Katniss?

5. breakfast, early morning exercise and hunger pangs!   (19 Jun 2009)
Hey all - newbie here so apologies if this is a common question but couldn't see a similar topic anywhere? Much of my weekday exercise has to be fitted around my job and walking my dogs - usually early in the morning. I'm not sure if I'm eating right in the evenings since thats what will fuel me for the am workouts? And I find I am getting hungry about 2 hrs after breakfast! Example: last night's dinner was mushroom and lentil daal with brown rice eaten about 6pm. Had several glasses of water an...

6. Hunger of the Human soul for God   (29 Apr 2009)
The Scripture says 'I am the Bread of Life. Whoever comes to Me will never be hungry, and whoever believes in Me will never be thirsty." John 6:30-35 The more I receive the Eucharist the more I want to receive the Eucharist and the Word of God. I thirst and hunger for more all the time and I am not sure if this is an addiction or if this is normal to want more all the time. I want and need Jesus in my life and feel such a blessing to receive Him. I was wondering how come my hunger and thirst for...

7. constant hunger!!!   (28 Jun 2009)
I just commented on another post like this the other day! I'm having the same problem, although now, my body is telling me I'm hungry but when I actually think about eating - it makes me not so hungry. I'm having a hard time deciding what to eat!  I would say to just snack small all day. Have your usual meals, but grab like a granola bar, or yogurt in between, (even if you're not super hungry) something good that would keep the hunger pains away.  Hope that helps! 9. VAT4956-LINE 18: Did H. Hunger deceive?   (17 May 2009)
"Lie" is a harsh word, so I will use the term "deliberately deceive" in reference to Herman Hunger claiming that the "moon" was the planet that was "below the bright star behind the Lion's Foot" on the 15th of Nisan. Why do we ask this? Well, because the moon was not in that position on that date, but Venus was. Ann O'Mally has commented on the fact others have noticed this error and it has been corrected. But was it an innocent error or a deliberate misrepresentation? Here are the issues: 1. In...

10. PMS and HUNGER!!! 20-Somethings   (28 Apr 2009)
Aunt Flow is supposed to visit me later this week, and I have been destructively hungry since the weekend. It's a LOT worse than usual this time. I came SO CLOSE to ordering a bacon cheeseburger and sweet potato fries for lunch. I had a smoked turkey sandwich instead... but STILL couldn't talk myself out of a frozen yogurt. I actually took an extended lunch break and drove well out of my way to get it. I've gone nuts! And I AM STILL HUNGRY All I can think about are carbs, cheese, chocolate, frie...
