2. Please, before you complain more, stop and think about what you're saying...   (26 Jun 2009)
I keep seeing the same asinine complaints over and over again. Let's stop and think about them for a minute: Complaint 1: The developers are releasing content without any regard for what the players think. Reality: Developers exist to satisfy the players. While they may get some things wrong, everything they change is because they feel it will enhance the gameplay. They are not changing things because they want to piss you off. They are changing things because they think it will make you enjoy t...

3. What do you think about different or unusal spellings of names?   (24 Apr 2009)
I have a few names on my list, one of them being Aiden. I have seen this name spelt a few different ways such as Aaden, Ayden, Aden and in all my name books its spelt Aidan. I was thinking of using a different spelling if we chose this name but am worried that he may always have to spell his name out or have it pronouced wrong. Having said this so many people now have unusal names or unusal spellings so would he be asked how it was spelt even if spelt the original way? Would like any opinions on...

4. The more I hear and think about the Book 8 changes   (05 Jun 2009)
The more I think people better get their PvP groove on now. The SoP nerf/change whatever you want to call it is almost game breaking in and of itself, but added to the other stuff it looks like it will be a stun zergfest on both sides, and since the creeps always have way more people and definaltey more wargs than burgs then it isn't hard to tell which side is goign to cave in first. because everyone knows people go right to the easiest class possible to play. So the half million or so BAs that...

6. opinions needed on sleep scheduling book by Rachel Waddilove   (02 Jul 2009)
Hi, There is a book called "The Baby Book- How to enjoy year one" by Rachel Waddilove. she is a Nanny from England. In the book she advocates starting the baby on a particular sleep schedule to get them used to it, right from nearly the beginning. I am wondering if anyone has read this book or tried her methods? I am pregnant with #1 and thinking about some things I may try regarding this. I would like to- 1. see what happens and be surprised 2. co-sleep with the little baby bed that can clip on...

7. Writing a book (not instructional) opinions wanted   (26 Apr 2009)
For a while now I've been thinking about all the wonderful and wild experiences I've had playing in the music world since 1968. While I'm nowhere near the end of what I believe to be a successful career as a drummer I'm thinking about recording some of those experiences and the best way to do it would be in a book. In some sense this would be very personal as it would allow me to reflect on a ton of things that have happened over the years but it may also be of interest to folks who want to know...

June 06, 2009 10:56 AM What do you think about the nude photography book that Leonard Nimoy took of full figured models? Does that balance our cult of thinness? 10. E-Book Readers: Give Opinions on Different Models to Help Inform Me   (09 May 2009)
I'm moving to Shanghai in a few months and can't take my books with me; this is pretty tragic considering I read like I breath. It helps me relax, I have more books than I'll ever be capable of reading in a lifetime, and I just generally enjoy the feeling of buying something I know I'll enjoy--should I ever get the time to sit down and read it. My mom's decided to buy me an E-book reader to make up for this; I wouldn't buy one at the moment because it's still a pretty fledgling industry with som...
