Gentlemen,
I have decided to replace a 26 y.o.100K input Whirlpool gas furnace with ac in central N.J. This set up has served me well in the 7 yrs I have been in this house. My background is in Commercial/Industrial and I do not have the skills to do the tin work, so I enlisted a former co worker and mentor who is now in his own business to do the job. We agreed on a Ruud UGPR07EAMKR furnace with a UAPM030JAZ condenser, I don`t have the coil model #. My question is: I see the furnace has an ECM...

Hello all,
First off, I have been browsing here for a while getting lots of great info...thanks to all for that.
Also, I am a service Plumber (16 years) so I am pretty handy when it comes to doing things but time is new to me. I'm pretty good about being as ready as I can when jumping into a new project.
We had a leaking shower pan and it went a long time being undetected (maybe years) since we are on a crawl space that doesn't get visited too often.

Would you not buy a house because it has white appliances instead of stainless...

Hey,
I just wanted to post a little survey here to find out some of your opinions. I have a house that I am going to be selling soon. It has white appliances (Kenmore brand countertop stove, wall oven, and dishwasher and a Whirlpool side by side fridge with ice maker and water). My question is: would you not buy this house because it has white appliances rather than stainless steel appliances? The hardware and light fixtures are oil rubbed bronze and the countertops are granite.

Ho bisogno di un consiglio urgentissimo , devo scegliere la vasca idromassaggio entro domani.
Sono indecisa fra glass arena whirlpool o airpool.
La combinata costa 1000 euro in piu' e mi pare davvero un esagerazione!!.
Mi sapete dare un opinione su quale dei due massaggi ( ad aria o a acqua) sia piu' rilassante e piacevole???.

Hi guys, "Downunder" ( in Australia ) we have a technical site called Whirlpool, primarily for broadband communications but it also has forums & branches including Linux.

I happened to notice that one of my fellow countrymen had submitted a snippet re the release of M8 which I had been contemplating.
A little annoyed that I hadn't done my bit by "spreading the word" about M8 I was prompted to add my 2c worth.
IMHO lack of awareness often stifles the growth of MEPI...

New Washer and Dryer?

I'm thinking about the purchase of a new washer and dryer since I have problems with mine and they are on sale due to July 4 week. I usually get the cheapest, basic, super capacity top load style I can find. My dryer seems to have a burned out heating element and the washer bearings have gotten very loud lately. Home Depot has an Admiral brand (they make Kenmore and Whirlpool) washer for $279 delivered and the dryer is about the same price. I notice a lot of people are moving to expensive front...

I often read threads on this forum, not as often post! But i often see people voicing there problems having there say about the service they are given ect.
Here are some examples.
Reason - David was given wrong MRTG Reports, came to end of month and was billed over $1000 in bandwidth overusage because he was using the wrong reports given to track his bandwidth. They refuse to refund him and allow him to pay the pre-paid block that you normally get if you let them know.

This is my first post.
First, thanks a lot for putting up this forum. After reading some of the posts and expert opinions, it looks to me that BW is top model to consider, followed by Rheem, A O Smith, GE etc. And yes, no to Whirlpool (I came very close to buying it when I saw the price in Lowes).
