American Idol 2b Replaced By X Factor?
(04 May 2009)
American Idol is to be replaced by the X Factor?
I would like to make it clear that this is all rumour, but its all very interesting and comes from a good source
and it makes sense.
Apparently the plan was always to replace American Idol with the X Factor when the AI ratings dropped. The ratting haven't dropped, but Fox feel they will lose Simon soon and the only way to keep his interest and him at FOX is to bring the X Factor to America. And they apparently feel that AI finishing and going out...

Most Common Questions asked by Non-Muslims
(30 Jun 2009)
Assalaamu 'alaykum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh. Dearest and most beloved brothers and sisters, I pray you are all in the best state of health and in the highest peaks of Imaan, InshaAllaah. I found an article online couple years ago written by Dr Zakir Naik on Da'wah and how to answer common questions that many non-Muslims throw at us. It includes questions on the issues of hijaab, polygamy, pork, alcohol and many more. And the best part is, Dr Naik gives such a beautiful answer to all the questi...

Thats right
We had two gorgeous grand pianos facing each other on stage, the piano curves fit together like shoes in a shoebox, and close-up camera shots of our fingers and faces were displayed on t...

Quote: : US leaves cultural imprint on Iraq
By Sammy Ketz – 5 hours ago
BAGHDAD (AFP) — Sipping tea and smoking from a water pipe at Shahbander, a favoured haunt for Baghdad's intelligentsia, Jafaar Bairga neatly summed up the contradictions of Iraqi views of the United States.
"We are really inconsistent -- we express happiness when American soldiers are killed, but we dream of living in the United States because we are fascinated by their way of life," the 25-year-old diplomat said.

Tuned In: TV Experts Predict Bleak Future for Network TV
(19 Apr 2009)
Link
SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- The future of prime-time network television is murky at best. Where once networks dictated what we watch and when we watch it, America has turned into a nation of individual programmers who pick and choose their shows and viewing times at their leisure, thanks to DVRs and online streaming sites such as Hulu.com.
"You can put the schedule board away," said veteran network programmer Fred Silverman at a TV symposium held here last week. "There's nothing more to schedule."
