Ok so the breakdown of my fish in the 75 Gallon are on my signature.
I brought up my SG to 1.023. My substrate is crushed coral. Running an Eheim 2217 with the Rena Air pump.
I am thinking about throwing in some cured live rock in the tank.
For now due to back pocket issues, I am skipping out on the protein skimmer until further notice.
Question 1: When I throw in the cured live rock, is there anything special that needs to be done to the rock prior to just dumping it in?

Long overdue masterbath renovation

Our long overdue renovation of our 30 y.o. 6x6 master bath is past the point of no return. The room is currently to studs and plywood sub-floor. The goal is to build a larger shower, a vanity & toilet. We are trying to do it "once and done," the right way. I have ordered JB's 1st book and downloaded the 2nd. I am sold on the schluter system after seeing it on Holmes on Homes.

62 miles towards the cure for diabeties

so... It was one of my goals this year to do a century ride... when I found out the ADA (American diabetes association) would have a metric century option (thats about 62 miles) I jumped at the chance...
I logged a good bit of miles over the last few months (not near as many as I'd have liked but whatever)... I talked a few guys from my club into riding... only 3 of us but wow it was great to get to know a few guys I didn't know (club web page is awesome for networking)

I used to be quite the semi athlete at School...Footy, Rugby, Cricket...after school in my later years I played in the local footy leagues. Over in the USA I was once asked to coach a local side in Wadesboro N.C in 'soccer' but turned it down 'cos tbh I saw all the crap that coaches n managers take and though 'Screw that' lol...also it didn't pay hardly anything.
