Capcom is going to make its PlayStation Network presence a lot more robust as it begins releasing ports of PS1 titles and providing downloadable versions of previous PSP titles throughout the year. (01 May 2009)
I was thinking about it the other day, During the 64 while updating there flagship titles to 3D Nintendo did some amazing things, every title they updated to 3D made the transition perfectly. Taking advantage of the new capabilities while not losing any of the enjoyment of the old games. (You should have been taking notes Sega) And then they continued it with Metroid on the cube.
And then they basically haven’t changed since then.
I mean don’t get me wrong I loved Ocarina of Time, it was awesome...

Or, do they both fall flat? Does one draw you in more/less because of a previous association you have or a premature judgment you make about it? Does a particular genre/age-group jump forth? Any other thoughts about either of them?
This thought has been tugging at my head for a bit now. I'm not necessarily looking for an 'I want to buy this book!' appeal but more the 'I wonder what this book is about...

We spoke with Capcom's Chris Kramer, who let us know that the company would be listening to what the community wants and figuring out internally what titles to release -- but don't expect any of them to involve licensing shenanigans along the lines of Marvel vs. Capcom.
