He might be getting a pretty good deal on a new '09. They let him have it for the night and he's liking it so far. He finally figured out what I was talking about when I said that bells/whistles/****ty interior can all be made unimportant based on how the car drives.

I need a new car and was thinking about a Cobalt. I work at a GM dealership and therefore only really see them when they are broke, but wanted to get a view from someone who owns one. Thanks.

They are going to use it as a daily driver in Minnesota, Twin Cities area. Anybody with experience with Colbalts can chime in. Please keep the Foreign vs Domestic battle out of this thread. I just want good, honest opinions from people who have experiences with this car. Thank.

well guys...
I use to have 2 12'' Rockford Fosgate P2 subwoofers.... powered by a rockford fosgate T-400-2 amp!
Loved the system, just wanted more. And something that gets more attention at car shows
so i was thinking about upgrading to Rockford fosgate T1 speakers powered by Rockford Fosgate Power T10001bd
would this be a good system? i have a deal for 550 for all of that and a CAP?

2 Rockford Fosgate T1 Subs (12 inch)
1 Rockford Fosgate P1000 amp
Tsunami 2 Fared Cap (really Helps i think)
Got that installed (Pictures will follow tonight)
now i am thinking about adding these

Well, september is right around the corner, and i get my 2nd of 3 Settlement checks ( i will be turning 21 ) ... I have to pay a few bills and then i will have 3,000 left to spend on my cobalt...
What should i do!???
i'm not turbo or supercharging it, i want to do w/e i chose to do.. MYSELF ...
Note: i am going to get my bumper painted silver!!!
i was thinking about getting chrome projector headlights, and chrome LED tail-lights to start, a CF hood idk which one tho..

what do you guys think about these? You can find one with low mileage up here in Canada for around $15,000. I always liked them. Its pretty much the only north american car i EVER liked next to the G8. Whats the quality like in these beasts?

E85 in 2006 Cobalt S/C??

I head if you put one or 2 gallons in your tank and fill the rest with regular gas you shouldn't have a problem (Just like race gas 100-110 octane)
Anyone install an E85 conversion kit? Anyone run E85 without the kit?
E85 is publicly available in 3 areas around MD and I was thinking about getting some. Cause it's octane level is avg'd at 105.
